Has anyone else been getting locked out of events early?

The last three or four events I've been unable to enter the event area about five hours before the event actually closes. Clicking on the event button does nothing but make the chime, and it's really annoying me not having the extra time to keep rank.

It's a known issue, last Gambit got extended because of it.
