I have no particular thoughts one way or the other about the event itself.

I just want to take a moment to articulate that Wax Tree is the worst. The worst. The artist responsible for this abomination, and whoever else on the FKG team in Japan who thought she was a remotely decent idea, should immediately be fired, shunned and exiled from contemporary society. I've found a few of the loli designs mildly distasteful in the past but none of the other designs have led me to recoil in horror the same way Wax Tree has. Her very existence in this game is an affront to civilization, and if I have the misfortune of ever acquiring her in a gacha roll I am immediately ridding myself of her and scrubbing my hands clean for thirty minutes to cleanse myself of the horror.

...Fullmoon Maple's pretty cool, though. It's rare that the best designed character in a given update is the one you get for free with the event.

I already got my phase 1 grinding method down. just need 2 teams of my own and one helper.... just put my lead down bottom cause speed up gives them 640 speed and my other two teams (my 2nd and my friend) on the other path...

that let me blow through the stage given my lead team is 140k and my sub team is 100k power... i just need a friend that had roughly 70k+ and i'm set for all the chests and event items collected

But in my opinion, it's the same with current reissue Fuchsia, it's really far over the borderline!

...I'm not a fan of lolis but there are some loli designs that, while not my cup of tea personally, they're okay. Oncidium, Lagurus, and even German Iris (whose voice I despise) are good examples of these. They all exhibit childlike attributes and traits, or dress a bit silly, but if you look closely enough at their character art, it's clear they aren't actually children, and that distinction is important.

I don't have anything against the affection for certain personality quirks and I'm actually a fan of flat chests -- Oxalis is one of my favorites and her entire shtick is being mistaken for a boy. But a few of the character designs are just atrocious. Like, don't draw a character who genuinely both appears and acts five years old for a game like this. Some adult women happen to look younger than their age, but they've still gone through puberty. Don't stick a child in this game, it is just so inappropriate and totally unnecessary.

And anyone who tells me Wax Tree is more than like, ten years old is crazy.

You all seem to forget that there are non-lewd versions of this game. No everyone plays this game to lewd people. I like loli characters as they are cute girls doing cute things. That said I cannot care less about Fuschia, but I love my Violas and their hammer-swinging manners. I am unfortunately reminded that this game has lewd aspects everytime I max an affection and it asks if I want to switch game versions ( why Hippo did you decide to add that feature back :disapprovingcorgi: ), but besides that I usually forget that side of the game even exists.

I get your point, but it's the very existence of a lewd scene that offends my sensibilities in a more abstract way. Even if I only played the non-lewd version, I'd be mad about it. But I'll never personally witness Wax Tree's H-scene because I'd sell her the moment I rolled her -- that really isn't the concern.
Viola isn't remotely my type of character either, but for whatever superficial reason her existence in the game doesn't bother me like Wax Tree's.

Ok I now understand where you are coming from, there are a lot of people in that same place of not being able to separate the game and reality in these issues. Those same people tend to have the same reactions to in game rape scene's, they either have no problem with it or they have massive problems with it.

Personally I think Wax Tree looks adorable and her sprite when she makes attacks and special attacks just adds to that.
On your point about her not being 10+ years old and I get that you are not going to change your mind, but having seen her H scene pics (thanks to the thread here that players have created for that purpose) she's less of a child than Christmas Rose. Make of that what you will.

You see, looking at the girls, some of them use the exact names that have been used by the creator (Centoreia, Mia, Suu, Doppel, etc) - as far as I can tell unless the one who made the game got the rights to use the Monster Musume IP and names, this might have been one of the possible reasons for it to be shut down.

Would be amazing if someone did a legal deal with Okayado sensei and got the License to make a Monster Musume FTP gacha themed game akin to FKG, GS or some other better titles. I sure as hell would be down for that :)

The game is all official so it was fine in that aspect. It had voice acting from the official voice actors and everything
In the Monster Musume manga there is actually cameos of the game girls too

Damn... then it really is shame (also shame I didnt know about this sooner while it was still active). Did it have H content ? If not that might be one of the reasons for low sales since these types of games are mostly directed towards adult cassual gamers and such.

Cleared all sheets except for 17 cards on sheet 16. If I wake up on time tomorrow morning, I should manage to get those 3,400 chestnuts before the event is over. But today, I'll spend my spare stamina on the Whaleship. Doesn't hurt to gather some medals in advance for the next phase.

So far, I never used my Whaleship medals for any of those. I get them from daily special maps, daily/weekly/main quests and events instead. So those have a variety of methods to aquire them, but for Whale jewelry, there's only one way. Clearing events and daily quests does take priority over the Whaleship for me though, but I'm also rarely hesitant to spend some FGs to run the whaleship when I don't have the latest jewelry yet. Once the Whaleship missions move to the next phase, the jewelry from the previous phase gets more expensive, so I rather get it before that happens.

It's just so much more simple to clear a whale map for 90 stamina and guarantee almost 2 dragons than to do the dragon daily and get five level 20s.
Same for manyuu, you can get 3 level 100's from one clear. (plus the drops from doing whale itself)
I honestly have no idea why people still do the dailies for those things, unless they just can't clear whale.

Um... are you sure about that? On my whale shop the very first necklaces are still the same cost as they were when it started... No prices have changed at all for me at least.

Skipping the whaleship ampies is crazytalk. You always need more of those and they're cheap.

They're cheap, but elsewhere they're cheaper: they frequently drop for free on event maps, are always part of the event reward lineups, and then I get several more from the weekly quests.
But the most important point remains: you can't get Whaleship jewelry anywhere else. So far it's been managable to get one of each piece, mostly because I farm more medals in advance when I have the opportunity to do so. If I had prioritized ampies, I would be 3 jewelry pieces behind by now, or would've had to spend about 30 more FGs on stamina refills.

I think this is the wrong way to go about it. Jewelry stays in the store forever, ampies do not (and other consumables do not). My goal has always been to clear out ampies, manyu, affection items, and coins every shop period (so far that's been about every two whaleship cycles). If I have time to farm, I'll buy the next cheapest jewelry piece. Buy dragons and those bloom birds as need dictates.

As of this cycle, I mostly did the above but left some affection items and did some farming for the earrings. Next cycle, I'll probably be able to finish off the affection items and get the repeat necklace.

Sheets 2 and 4 of the bonus were only worth opening 2 tiles each. You get more gold from the other sheets than the gold tiles on those sheets since they were all only 500 or 1000 tiles. The 2 50k gold tiles were the only things of value there.
