What exactly they buff?

The stats have been increased to where they become the best stat-stick eidos with even just 1 or 2 LBs. They are of course gacha eidolons, so the p2w players can try to stack them in their grids with as many LBs as possible and be a lot stronger than typical or non-paying players. Also they have one of the best active eido effects to use if you need it - again the active, not the passive.

I've been told later on the eido shop lets everyone buy at least 1 copy of them, so us f2p players will have a chance to get them for the active effects at the very least. Of course some p2w already have MLB sets for most if not all of them already.

Well you can certainly use it as a stat-stick eido in your eido grid. Just don't make the mistake of setting it as your primary, that would still be your Jack o lantern in your case.
Even at 0*, with the buffs the dragoons got to their stats, it tends to make them equivalent to many MLB event eidos in terms of a statstick. I guess it really depends on your eido grid to know whether you'll notice any difference or not.

But one thing you can definitely notice will be when you time the active effect of the eido with something like the full burst from your party. As I said, it's one of the best eido active buffs you can get from eidos.

To be clear, their active effect is 30% elemental atk buff of the corresponding element & 30% dmg cut against the element the corresponding element is strong for 2t. Meaning that your dark kaiser would give you 30% dark elemental atk buff & 30% light dmg cut.

The difference between LB0 and LB1 is going to be small. One copy of these eidolons per element will be made available to everyone in August or so, so having a copy from Gatcha is not a huge boon in the big scheme of things.

if i read it correctly on the JP wiki, 1 dragoon costs 10k eido orbs

Not that any non-spacewhale will get past 1-Star.

given what it sounds like, anyone with the 100% eidolons AND the dragoon of their element at MLB would likely shred through HP like tissue paper...


kinda sucks for me given i'm maining Light (cause that 100% eido isn't out yet)... never got a dragoon either (except the SR ones..)

and yet the gacha wanted to get my Huanglong to MLB and my Echidna nearly MLB (she's 3 star).... go figure...

that's not bad actually....

so if they're all the same, 445 HP and 1633 atk.... some of the event SSR need 1-2 stars to match that (although I knew gacha eidolons have higher stats, which is why i keep my lv100 huanglong around)
