it's basically a play on a LOT of anime. the comedy anime sometimes bring it up, like hyperdimension neptunia, or gabrial dropout. but it happens in almost anything that has naked girls but isn't a hentai. just SOMETHING covers the naughty parts.

I decided fuck it and went for a 50 gem pull and rng liked me for once!
This is the 2nd time I've ever actually got a current gacha girl and I reallllly needed a new hit character
Not a loli fan but Christmas Begonia art is cute (annoying as hell voice tho) and a dupe Aloe is nice
This is the best pull I've gotten in a while too! Usually I spend 100 gems but only get 1 single character

Correct, Hyperdimension Neptunia was the one it's referencing. I've seen a lot of Anime but few actually bring up the censorship in the show and that one is the only one i've seen to date out of hundreds that says 'Mysterious light beams'.

every meta show does a thing on censoring, tbh. and sayonara zetsubou sensei being one of the most meta, did it too. ALOT. especially in manga, they did meta on meta. and a layer or two deeper. just sayin'

I'm not talking about the censor itself... i'm talking about the comments from characters in the anime making note of it in some way.
That is not something that is common to see, tho it is becoming more common now than in the past.

I'm also going to point out that you need to go back and research what 'meta' means.
I understand that English is most likely not your first Language, so I'm going to politely suggest that you not use words whose meaning you are not 100% certain of in future to avoid giving the appearance of being illiterate.

Well that sure was unexpected. Usually Nazuna plays a support role in the events but this time she ended up being the one being focused on. Even got some decent character development thrown in as well!
