So yeah, decided to do one myself, especially since I've done guides before (for games like Elsword and Sengoku Providence).

This is mainly focused on players of various levels of power, so it more or less points out noteworthy Eidolons that are worth using, even R and SR ones until you can get better ones... So it's not just focused on the best ones in the game (like the 100% ones), it's more focused on what you might have.

so tell me what you think. when more Eidolons come out, I'll add to this. Might be worth making changes you guys point out too.

Access is locked. Check your gdocs public access status? Also I believe the link given is for editing, you might want to share the view link instead.

IMO needs a lot of work:

-text formats, headings, right now it's kinda wall of text;
-more general info regarding effects like character attack vs elemental attack (when one is better than...

This is way too long given the limited scope of the topic and its relative simplicity. Eidolons come in a few basic categories, and after that the only difference between them is the summon effect and the element. The summon effect is generally a very minor consideration, except for Behemoth.

Also, HIGHLY recommended to Reroll for the Gacha SSR Eidolons (particularly the 100% ones)
This is pretty misleading. SSR eidolons other than the +100% eidolons are nearly worthless in the long-run without multiple LBs. Since what to start with is probably the single most important decision most players will make, there's no room for confusion. If in doubt, just link my rerolling guide. I can update with an explanation of why the +100% eidolons are optimal starting picks if needed.

i would suggest

1. adding a section to rate or rank the eidos

2. give examples of a good eido lineup.

There's 4 basic strategies to rerolling. One can reroll for:
1 core SSR kamihime
2 or more same-element SSR kamihime
As many SSR kamihime as possible
1 +100% eidolon

Notice that I don't include any mention of ordinary SSR eidolons in that list, as they're not even a consideration. When people give me accounts, I ask them to fill in the SSR kamihime and +100% eidolons, because that's all I need to judge the account's long-term potential from a pile of accounts. The +35% elemental eidolons in the shop are just fine as starter primary eidolons, even for accounts that start in an event deadzone... which aren't even in your list, including Vine, possibly the most significant SR eidolon in the entire game right now.

This gets at my major issue with the guide right now. A good overview needs to start with a top-down understanding of what's important. Without that all you have is a grocery list, even if all your facts are correct, and we already have perfectly good wikis for that.

Nice start .. I would recommend to put in stat point (hp/atk) ... also recommend which free event eldon should have aim for for each element and also which 6 free eldon should they have in term of stat to help out those f2p

It's noteworthy to list the stat values but not important to list which free eidolons a free player should aim for since the guide only lists released eidolons. Are you going to tell a free player that just started to aim for Jormungandr/Yatagarasu for their debuffs or Mii/Sphinx for their high base attack? They won't even be able to get them (until certain features are added or another reprint).

One could go through every upcoming event in the next 6 months and judge which weapons and eidolons are most important. Though typically only Advents give you much choice, and the choice is going to be very dependent on one's particular circumstances. Still, that IS something value-added for which a guide could be useful. I generally try to stay away from topics that are only useful for a time-limited window.

well that's the thing, this is gonna be updated as more and more eidolons come into the mix...

it's part of the reason why i lumped the 100% eidolons together like I did, cause naturally, you'll want one for each element you plan on using, but we only have 2 of them so far...

it can be listed now for future reference, but on that subject, the same can be said for Eidolons we don't have like Vlad or Yule Goat....

plus in the case of rematches, i am listing every eidolon we have right now that's SSR, so that said, they'll be placed somewhere... we had 3 shots at yatagarasu after all, so most players might have a copy or two and players without her can stay aware of her if there's another rematch along the way.

it's more to leave openings to plan ahead if you don't have them, while helping those that do.

key thing about this guide is to cater to all players, not just the ones that have the OP stuff... i even mentioned SR eidolons that come with debuffs too for that reason

after all, a player looking at a guide full of stuff they don't have might not care about said guide until later on. it's best to give options to work with what you have, especially in a game that's LOADED with customization and multiple ways to get stronger...
