What's the final word on Snatch?

I've only been able to search a few threads from a year ago. I read them, but I was wondering if there was any update to the skill or the way we think about the skill since then?

Is it still considered not really that worth it? I don't really have another option for the soul ability at the moment, so eh.

Snatch works (probably), but we don't know exactly how (does it increase drops, make drops better, both?) or by how much.

Never, ever use it as a EX skill. There's always better. If you're running Dartagnan, you might as well use it.

I'm running Mortred. She already has a B Atk/Def debuff, but I think it's only 10% or something? I should work towards D'art to bump that up to 20% with Sniper Shot as an EX skill. Pretty sure Ambush is pointless since I have Ryu-Oh.

ryu-oh mean no gawain, no mordred, no joanMordred is still good because of her debuff- skill. Joan also for her damage cut. It doesn't really hurt to have duplicates of debuffs either, since resists are a thing.

But yeah, Ryu-Oh and Sniper Shot covers most things.

So when I use Mordred's debuff (first skill) which I'm guessing is -10% ATK/DEF, then I use Sniper Shot for -20%, would Sniper Shot override Mordred? How about if I use Sniper Shot first, Mordred second, would the debuff still be 20% or would the second 10% debuff override the first 20% one?

At one point (not that long ago actually, relative to the length of the game's release), the stronger debuff like sniper shot didn't use to override outrage. They've since fixed that, so yes, the stronger debuff overwrites the weaker one of the same type now. And the weaker one doesn't override the stronger one.

Snatch definitely works. I've actually been using it as an EX soul ability simply because I wanted better chances of getting goodies while I was grinding SP quests to level break my kamihime and there was definitely a difference in drops between running auto without buffs and doing it manually while also using Snatch a few times. (versus running manually without using snatch).

Even so, things also change over time. Right now I hardly use it anymore and can't say that i feel to be missing out on something.
