What Event Ranking says of game population

The recent ranked Union Event is a great opportunity to take a look on the health of the game population. I have recollected the numbers of some people and one mine secondary account doing 1 Expert to see the last ranked numbers. I know that I have few data, so all the people that want to share would be added (and thanked).

I will post the numbers by the thousands; I think that way can be easier to read.

The last is "the points of doing 1 expert". That means that around 10.000 people had played the event. Is perfectly possible that some people is playing but have done nothing on the event, so the population may be around 11.000 players. That's not seem a bad population. But great part of that population is very casual. Position 5.502 has 75.000 points. That means there are 4.400 players between 75.000 and 3.000 points; a lot of people

I have very few data, I know. That's why I will appreciate many people posting theirs, specially NOT top players. What tells us that few data? There are like 2.000 Union with a minimum of activity. But I don't think more than 300 have any serious activity.

So, any more ranks will be welcome. I will edit (or repost, as people wish) when new numbers arrive.

The top level unions could certainly co-ordinate that if they're willing to though, it only becomes a problem if you're trying to control 9-10k players, or 500 (if I'm being optimistically realistic on the number of hardcore players?)

Done with the (few) data I have about Personal Points. It seems the population on this event was similar, but people clearly got more points on this one. I suppose it's on part that people know more how to farm points, and part that it was easier to get points here than in Lust with her debuff resist.
I find specially interesting that 444 points rank. I thought that 1 Expert was the minimum people would do: I was very wrong, a population of more than 1.000 accounts has less than 1 Expert.

Actually, I think that it's less people trying to do union events...

The was a handful of players in my union that was fairly active yet didn't try to help or barely did.

Out of roughly 20 people, there's usually only 5-7 max that help with the union events, myself included. One union member hasn't even logged in for a while either

I'd definitely take data on water UE with a grain of salt. Keep in mind that for an average player, it can be quite difficult to get a decent thunder team together, so unless they have a strong incentive to do so (Kirin or multiple SSRs), most just avoid it entirely. This can have a negative effect on water UE points for mid to average players. Conversely, note how insanely high the strong players score are in the rankings compared to the last few UEs. It's just an effect of the Thunder team meta, imo.

The bottom tier numbers are mildly interesting at best, we're talking about ppl who logged on once in a blue moon and tagged a demon once in the entire week. These people can easily come and go, all you can really say about it is that the game is probably attracting less new players, which isn't all that surprising given it's 2 year + duration.

The higher numbers on the other hand, shows that we've been relatively stable with the active player count. Still over 1000+ ppl that can do 2m+ pp in a single day, a third of which easily breaks 10m+. If anything, these players are probably getting stronger, which also makes sense, being active does that.

Looks like we've lost 30% of the player base in the last year. While I like what that does to my chances to score better rewards, it's not a good sign for the long life of the game. Nutaku have not pushed KH for a long time, and there's been no cross-over events in an age.

It's still their most popular game. Maybe they'll do a campaign with Otogi Frontier since that's brand new on Nutaku.
But we only ever got 3, and the games been out for almost 3 years so it's not really surprising. [x2 Dragon Providence + x1 Taimanin Asagi]
Not having them doesn't really mean anything bad is going to happen to KHP...
Nutaku sometimes do it of their own accord when a new game comes out and they want to promote it by using their most popular game. So don't worry!
