Can you still get girls as rewards for beating bosses when using the 10x option?

I sometimes use the 10x option to beat bosses when I don't have much time or don't want to click through the pages, but I have never gotten a girl from doing this. Are you unable to get girls this way, or am I just unlucky?

You can get them just like from single battles, you get the pachinko ball animation if you get a girl from the 10x battle.
