Hi guys,, as title says i somehow cant decide which way to go because i already have 22 6* girls so there isnt rly need for new and only challenge so far is whale ship where imo one new equip slot would help more ... whats your opinions,,

Well it depends. Do you want strong units? Then get a dupes for an extra equip slot.

Are you in it for the waifus? Then get a new unit.

Waifus come first of course but then think about what teams you want to create and what would best help you get there
Is Kerria and Saffron fully maxed out on everything? (for myself I also add Anemone and Alpinia) They are two that will remain among the best at what they do. and also for myself I spend the most resources just for a Raid boss setup. that's the only challenge that I just cannot beat (YET) and Queen Kerria gets a full support staff both for regular battle and for raid boss..but thats me so....it comes back to...

Besides the events, I use the special missions to farm ampy then sell all the extra bloom material (keep some of each color)
I will take a look at what you got but will be awhile

For starters Dogwood should be on the bench until she blooms, then shes gonna lead your most powerful team.. a solar strike team...
All you single hitters should be at 4th or 5th position

Dendro and Cactus are your sweep team
Kerria needs everyone on the team to have skill act boost (I am using solar girls until dogwood blooms Cattleya MEI and Scotch Broom I see you have)
You got a partial counter team-add Anemone you wont regret it at all and remember total power don't mean shit, I don't run girls for power

and if you got Cymbidium shes goin on sweeper double strike duty you need more skill act girls

My thoughts are hard to convey to you... it depends on the combination you want:silly:

I am currently watching your team, Dendro bb cattleya Mei Cactus is a team and Alpinia Sakura lycoris saffron kerria is a team.

The rest is the solar team. Then there is the free combination.:wink:

I always prefer dupes. I have already a team of 30+ rainbow units. A new rainbow is not useful in whaleship, but a new dress slot is.

Funny enough, Anemone is also in the top 3 of damage dealers. As Phob said, total power, or power rating, don't mean shit. Seriously, it's true.

My ideal random party for the crystal break in Whaleship battles would probably be:
Kerria
Anemone
Mei Plumblossom
Cactus
Fritillaria (provided she is last)
I'm roughly estimating those five could reach 450k damage against the crystal.

His most important point though, is to put knights with single target special attacks on positions 4 and 5 within their squad. Knights with tripple strike attacks like Anemone (but also Jersey Cudweed and some other recently added ladies) should be put after knights with AOE attacks as well. Single target and tripple strike units are the ones that will clean up the pests left standing after the AOE barrage.
Despite being an AOE girl, Fritillaria should also always be in the very last position within a squad, so she benefits from any special attacks preceding her turn.

Another good thing to get used to, is synergizing your squads. Throw as many girls with a buff to triggering special attacks together as you can, and you get a squad that trigger a LOT of special attacks. Throw girls that debuff pests together, and you get a squad that takes very little damage.

Sometimes, these synergetic squads even benefit from adding certain 5* girls. The best example would be Cymbidium: 4 max skilled girls with a 1.2 buff to trigger special attacks (which is additive) + Cymbidium (2x trigger on the first round for the entire party, which is multiplative) results in a guaranteed trigger for every girl on the first round. 3 max skilled girls with a 1.2 buff + Cymbidium is actually already enough to get a guaranteed trigger for every girl except Cymbidium, who will have a 96% chance to trigger instead. Guess what glass-wearing 5* girl leads my first Whaleship squad?

You can take Saffron, Alpinia, Anemone add two counter girls and have a full counter squad. Add somebody like Soapwort(which I don't have)that is bloomed and have a really great squad:wink:
One more thing get Dendrobium if you don't already have her and good luck:cool:

I am a huge fan of Kerria and I see that you already have many girls for her ideal setup.

Bonci, Lyco(Miko), Epi(Swimsuit) When those get their blooms, they all will get the 1.2 Skill act buff.

If you picked up Snowdrop, she would be in total synergy with the debuff skill act theme.

Add Kerria to that team and you would have 65% debuff and a 1.8 skill act that would cause utter devastation :squint:

I am working on full ampy and slotting this team now have three down two to go. The only changes that will come will be after we get some rarity growth girls here.

I guess. Unless it is a raid boss, at least for me, usually the counter just finishes someone off in the very rare chance they somehow survive the first turn. And when it comes to raid bosses, a counter squad is not usually my go to to be honest. Although I know some people like that set up for them. I tend to instead like to go for the long game.
