Onto the battles!

Much like the current Koihime event (at the time i'm posting)... we'll have a bunch of skip-able story scenes and short battles to understand the crossover, for those who enjoy the story part, and get 30 jewels from each part.

Again, there's no Ragnarok stage in these events, so it's even easier... to complete missions I suppose lol

...after watching the only videos I could find on the event from when DMM had it, I couldn't see ANY of the overdrives, etc... all battles were just one turn kills; just shows how easy it is..

Normal Overdrive - Deals large damage to one random ally
Raging Overdrive - Deals damage to all allies and applies 4 DoT debuffs.
Special Technique - Applies sleep debuff to ally(s) for 2T

The main element of the event is wind, so fire teams at the ready of course... but it's not really necessary, heck you could even use thunder as it's the best team for treasure hunting/snatch use, although it's weak against wind... unless you're like, totally OP like me

Rewards:

SSR Wind Eidolon - Cheng Yu (Fu) - Very interesting summon ability, but in general a really under powered eidolon... not worth using her in any teams.
SSR Dark Bow - Gorgeous Butterfly Bow - Quite a nice weapon, worth keeping and maxing until future events.

It's a whole lot harder if you have almost zero assault skill though. I'm running a Dark team just to level some characters and my team occasionally wipes on the last boss.

i didn't wipe, but i did see a huge difference with my dark R team since they have very little atk/def debuffs to work with (and only about 50% assault)

Not sure how much it affects advent drops (or how much drop rate it gives period), but double vlad even without snatch gives me a lot of gold chests in the SP quests, usually 5 per 50 AP stage.

Snatch and Vlad will increase the chance of getting 4 gold chests rather than 3 gold chests. With no buff you'll get 3 chests pretty frequently, while with high buffs you'll usually get 4. While it makes a difference, I usually prioritize leveling kamihime over optimizing drop rates, and I can't be bothered to constantly swap drop rate accessories in for new characters.

so 4 gold is mostly expected, that makes a big difference.

considering i did find a few accessories with drop rate increase, i wonder if that'd push it to a guaranteed 4... (would have to stick them on some SR girls or something though)

If you want to Auto, you'll need some strong characters and good debuff coverage to clear Advent Ultimates on Auto. It'll help if you have enough accessories for your best element to weight the characters towards that element too.

How about weapon grid? Just put all most stated weapons?

Do you know if phantom weapons will come along someday? Will they have skills for all elements characters?

They will, starting from Second Anniversary update (Feb/April, depending on what Nutaku feels like).

You get them from the (true) Rag Disasters, although, I hear they are rare as fuck. Also, while technically they do boost all characters, to do their thing you need to have 5 or more of the same type of weapon in your Grid. For a F2P, this basically only means Thunder, since you'll have 4x Pride Guns from Union Events alone. For every other element, you'd need to bring SRs...

Well, I guess if your aim is to have a rainbow team, you can just bring SSRs of the same type from multiple elements.
