I managed to get a secret unnamed 2 star character on the second mission: "I don't want to be Santa -Intermediate-", the one that takes 20 stamina.
Here are a couple of screenshots:

Keep in mind, that since she's a 2 star you will have to manually lock her afterwards, if you manage to find her.
So far I've gotten her twice, both when replaying the second mission, I did not get her through the first play-through, so she might be available through the other missions.
I also noticed that the similar skill upgrade shows up on manyu, dragons and other blooming items, but so far I've only experienced a skill upgrade through the second instance of the character I've found, so I'm not sure if this means anything.
She also shows up in the gifts section, but her gift page doesn't appear, and she also doesn't have a page under collections.

I'm like 99% sure she wasn't intended to be in the game yet and just a consequence of us skipping events. If you have her, I'd hold off on doing anything with her since she might cause some weird bugs.

Yeah, that's a good suggestion, especially since some parts seem to be pretty empty. :)
If I manage to find more of her over the week, then I might try experimenting a bit with upgrades, but before then I think I'm going to send a quick message to Nutaku's support, at the very least to make sure that they're aware of her presence in the game.

I don't think a support ticket is necessary. The discord has been posting about her bug a lot in the issue reports so they're definitely aware.

In the DMM version she came out in Event 71 along with a new 3* and new 4*. However, we skipped that one and went to Event 74 first (cuz it's the Christmas event). So, she exists as a possible mission reward in the Event missions because of that. It's just an oversight by the devs to allow her to be obtainable that way.

That's interesting, I'm not sure why she would be a 2 star though, but it's nice to see that they're adding some newer flower knights that are not 4's, 5's and 6's for a change.
I haven't spent too much time in the Discord lately, so that one alluded me. ^_^;
Following up on your post, it seems that her name is Buckbean.

I wondered what was going on. I got her too and was about to post. Glad I found this thread. I guess I'll just hold off on doing anything with her until the event. Too bad she's only a 2-star. I didn't think there were any 2-star characters, honestly.

I got it as a 2* on the event mission and I thought it might be cause of problems, so I deleted it and it made no difference.

Got her as well. Gotta wonder why a new 2 star since they get vender trashed once the 3*s start coming in, especially with the gacha tweaks.

I have images of hordes of 2 stars screaming as uncountable clones get tossed into the grinder.

The game has been very glitchy the past few weeks. Even the Event quests are broken. I kill the pests like they say and I don't get the extra credit daily rewards for them. :(

Rarity growth is a thing in the future. Some 2, 3, and 4* girls end up far better than a lot of the current bloomed 6* girls we have

Be careful about spending your race currency wins guys. I tried to spend my 3k and it deleted itself, might have been because the winner did not have a 'BET' button till I highlighted it but i'm not sure.

Christmas medals increase a Knight's first affection by 3%, regardless of what their favorite type of gift is. They're basically the little sibling of a Secret Gift (+30% first affection).

fucking hell, that's the SECOND time I spent event currency only to see it vanish without the items appearing in my mail...

that just killed my motivation to do this event cause it's been a ton of issues which honestly has no excuse....

This whole event has been buggy as hell. And the core game is being unstable.
This sort of behavior is quite honestly unacceptable from them.

I understand that they are not intentional, but it just feels like they do not test their releases before using them (which you should).

I have had it happen to me twice where I voted on the winning boat, but never got rewarded for it. It is very annoying... :cry:

take it from someone actually designing their own game (using RPG Maker MV). You really have to test out as much as possible that's affected with the slightest change, cause something real simple like changing the character's name does way more than you'd think.

granted, it's possible to overlook something... but you know it's pretty bad when it seems like you've broken the majority of the game with one slight change and it looks like there's been little to no effort to fix it.

coding and such can be hard, but when you have the tools and templates, it's not as hard as you'd think

just tried changing the order, the problem is the same:
watching the race result adds a ghost amount of currency, doubled with the reward placed in the gift box

I have to refresh the game before going to the shop to avoid an error

If I'm not mistaken, DMM switched from race rewards going in the gift box to rewards being added to your inventory directly. Nutaku doesn't have a good track record where changes of any sort are concerned.

tried to give this one more shot since i had about 20k trees... then i got an error around 10k left and dropped to 68....

seriously nutaku, what the fuck? i'm done with this event cause of that. not trying anymore...

all i'm missing out on is billy getting skill lv 5 anyway since that was the last thing i was gonna get (since i rarely use gold girls now). i'm still in the process of leveling 5 different rainbow girls and 3 of them still need to bloom...

You didn't have 20k trees, you had less. The game "gave you" the trees from the boat race twice, but knew behind the scenes you really only had half that, so when you tried to trade them in it crashed.

The first time I did that it showed me that boat race message again and gave me the fake trees again... so I crashed again.

Next time in, I only had 10k trees and it let me buy gold without a problem. Lot of headache to work around their distribution bugs.
