New DMM Feature: Epic Quest! (Raid Rematches)

A fairly recent update came in DMM which allows us to run through previous Raid events SOLO, as if it were a semi-advent battle. (It's a very fast and easy way to get past items that you may have missed, which is super nice.)

here's how it works:

Here, you can find certain previous raid events

They're locked at first, but to unlock them all you have to do is simply click, and you can see that it costs only 10K gems to unlock

It starts off with the first story part, (yes, you can still skip it)
and then gives you the SR Raid Kami that comes with the original event (if you don't already have her)

The main page of the event is very similar to an advent, showing the exchange shop and battles (and materials)

In the shop, you can either re buy, or unlock for the first time the SSRS, SRs, x2 premium tickets, SP points, half elixirs and energy seeds. (Yes, you can buy the max amount of copies needed to MLB, buy the price increases per buy of course!)

They are DIRT cheap!
Onto the battles themselves, there are only two stages, much like the raids (yes can get the 50 jewels from all the story parts and the battles.) Standard and Expert are both super easy and drop very nice amounts of the materials
(changing to Quetzal since i'm not started on Crom yet, lmao)

so what are your thoughts and feelings on this feature? pretty cool way to get some nice fodders for OG players and free jewels/tickets without having to spend much time at all.

already knew about this, but it's definitely welcome. you're allowed to farm old events for stuff you may not have.

it even allows the possibility of FLB raid weapons since you can just up and get them.

Super nice for the new players out there that need to get into the game. One of the big mistakes that Millenium Wars did was never reducing the '2+ year' investment needed by new players to actually play current content.

The developers of Kamihime seem to be doing it right. They know that they want every one of the players to buy MTix, Gachas and the only way to do that is to help those who are new to the game get through the 'grind' that was in 2017. For a player like myself, who left for a year, I don't have any of those Eidolons... it's going to be nice to get some of those and get the last SR Assault weapons I need to complete my grids.

it's part of the reason why i like FKG as well. they do reprints for a while, but some events become permanent reprints where you can get the 5* girls from that. and there's a lot of them. KamiPro is more or less doing the same thing now in DMM's server and it'll come here eventually.

it's extra premium currency and you can get the 2nd highest rarity to start beefing up your teams. kinda wish more games did this.

I believe they will. You have to think of the last 3 years as legitimizing the adult game industry from Japan to the rest of the world and the need for the crap games to die of and actually leave the games that are quality in the space. You'll always have games like Battle Arena come and die, but what we should be seeing is the games that innovatively find a way to balance the whales and long time players with the need to grow the player base being successful in the long run.

It's a lot harder to invent a new good game than it is to get an artist to draw up some new 'scenes'. There is a huge incentive for developers to do exactly what Kami Project are currently doing.

honestly, you never know...

power creep might touch those eventually... not shocked if a large chunk of them are "off meta" since the vast majority had 1 skill

and since they made epic quests have a trading system like advents, they could get FLB the same way as advent weapons in a sense.

just a thought really...

I didn't count on it either since you needed orichalcum to even get the old raid weapons at all...

Like I said, with easier access, there's still a chance. Wouldn't put money on it, but it's still viable if they put some effort into it

Overall they are nice, 2 free Prem Tickets, some SR fodder if you are a veteran and either completing a already owned weapon to MLB or get a new MLB copy.

In addition, if you are not in need of the Eido, some Eido Orbs aswell.

The current difficulty are easy, like...really easy. Any veteran is gonna 1 or 2 turn them just with auto attacks. For newer players it momst certainly a start to focus on something and have some stats aswell as %-tage in their grid.

Has to be seen if they add additional rewards and/or higher difficulty in the future.

Today along with the new DMM raid, we just unlocked Saint Nicholas raid and---huh? we also just got Jack Frost! so they're doing the limited advents too, which pretty much confirms she won't be getting a rematch, or a FLB on her hammer.
