Anyone have any tricks on beating Anzera (last boss on the Halloween event) with three stars? She seems grossly overpowered and I have 184305/1400000 on the bp recommended so I really think it shouldn’t be this hard. Her secret art is ridiculous and crits at least one person on my team usually killing them. I don’t get it.

About Azura, well, bp is just the bp of the opponent team I think, but these kind of SSR soul have super skills which make them way more powerful then it seems. Worst is Tifa stage where the bp is shared between 4 opponents. I'm unable to do any damage on even the troops...

2) The game doesn't really do daylight savings time. So, as we recently switched in the US, the times are all off. So the game resets at 3AM CST instead of 4AM CST, second energy drink becomes available at 7AM to 9AM instead of 8 to 10, and the third at 10AM instead of 11AM.
The time is based on a constant GMT-5 and does not factor daylight savings time changes, so of course CST is off by one hour, since CST is GMT-6... that's normal. During daylight savings time all the local times are bumped forward one hour, which is why you thought your times were 'correct' then, since at that time you were GMT-5.

I stumbled upon this last night a couple hours before time change and figured I'd wait to post until after I checked that it was still possible today.

If you go into Quests you can scroll down to find that the Quests associated with the three Event battles are still active. If you click on the Proceed button for any of them, it will take you to the Events grouping of those four battles (Rokuemon's Trial, Rumble of Yanwulou, and Colossus Event/Subterranean Secrets depending on day). Just remember that if you do a battle in each DO NOT leave that area or you won't be able to return to do the second battle for each that day, since the Quests will change to Collect instead of Proceed. I'm not sure if this has been possible since they removed it last or for how long it will remain before they Maintenance it out, but figured it would be good to share the news while it's still possible. Happy coin collecting.

SSR's get speed faster than SRs get speed faster than R's. So to boost your team speed, date SSRs, then SRs, then Rs.

Any tips on getting SSR? I know it’s by the Gacha; however, is it better to do the individual pulls after the free one or the 10 pulls at once? I also do the luck thing beforehand to see if it increases but have only gotten R or SR

My personal thoughts :

1) Rather than save up to do 10 pulls, I usually do one pull for free per day, then one ruby pull. Doing a single 300 ruby pull per day costs 250 rubies, as you get 50 rubies back from the quest for spending 300 rubies. So, 11 pulls once per day is 2800 rubies, vs 11 pulls for 3000 rubies (save 200 rubies). Always do the blessing thing, as it's only a tiny boost in chance, but every bit helps.

2) SSRs will come, but there's a few important girls to get :

a) Lu Wu (needed for Asgaard)
b) Ren Qing-chen (If dated to gold 100 her defense is 10K and up, best defensive stat in game)
c) Mateo Maya (Instant win in Infinite Tower, only obtainable via Asgaard Conquest)

Beyond that, the SSRs you get from the ruby are decent enough, Mako is probably the hardest hitter.

Don't forget to boost Oda Sayoka, she's only an R, but she's the only free healer in the game, so you'll be using her forever.

I'm curious, did you perhaps misspeak? Ren Qing-Cheng is a Balanced SR, not SSR, and from the graph showing her growth, her Def should be middling at best. :/ That's either a gross oversight from the developers (which, I really wouldn't put past them) or perhaps you said the wrong girl.

Yup, she's definitely broken. I was curious and looked at what mine was at and even only at Mutual Affinity Lv24 she already has a 1548 boost to Defense. I also looked at all the other souls I have and the only current four digit stat boost for anyone else is HP.

Focus more on your SRs and SSRs; the only R girl worth investing in later-on is Oda Sayoko. Its fine to spend a bit on Kasumi for the sake of progressing if she already happens to be one of your best chars, but expect to replace her.

Some perspective.

A 3 star SR (just about ANY 3 star SR) will blow your 5 star R out of the water.

A 3 star SSR (just about any 3 star SSR) will blow your SR out of the water.

My 3 star Chen Li SSR (not the most powerful SSR by any means) is more powerful... BP 45,965 (both BP's are without IOTs on either of them), Chen's dating level is Purple 10, 3 skills at 72, level 72, equipment level 40 or 45.

So, with minimum stars, same level, skills upgraded to same level, and only equip/dating increased on Chen Li, she's got 5K more BP.

My main SSR (Ashikaga Mako) is also 72, 5 stars, 5 skills at 72, equip level 65, and dating maxed, is around 80K BP (84,144, but has about 4K in IOT boosts). So, the same effort on SR/SSR will net you MUCH more in the way of BP.

I only have Meng boosted because I'm at the point in the game where I have left over resources and boost my SRs/Rs out of boredom while I wait to draw new/more SSR shards.

Depends on your preferences.

You should always build up Lu Wu, as you need her for Asgaard. Ayako buffs the entire back rows attack.

Mai boosts all girls attack, but by half what Ayako does.

Lui Shang boosts her own defense, and has a chance to lower one enemies defense.

If you want to go with a defensive build, having both Mai and Ayako to boost your output on damage works well to even that out. If you want to go full offensive, same thing, both in your team works well. Lui is good if you're going for a mixed team, 3 high defense (Lui, Ren, 3rd Def type) and 3 heavy offense (Lu, Ayako, 3rd high offense).

Basically, if you want a team that hits hard or has high defense, go with Mai/Ayako. If you want a high def front line and high attack back line, go Lui/Ayako.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Note, Oda's healing works better if she's a front line, at least at lower levels, for IC or story, as she builds up her healing faster to heal everyone else. So if you go that route, make sure you buff her HP/DEF with her IOTs.

I went through my Battle Soul Catalog, but I don't have any units named Kotomi. Did you perhaps mean Toyotomi Kumiko? If so, then Ren Qing-Cheng, Toyotomi Kumiko, and Date Mai can work as a great front line. Toyotomi has a good def rating and high attack power. Her Skill has a good rate on Stun too.

As for Oda Sayoko, I only use her in backrow in Inf Castle as she dies too easily if all the enemies attack her with their basics while in front row. While it's nice that she collects Rage faster that way, it's useless if she dies. I have a lv 20/30 Strength of Unity (6 Star Guild IOT) on my Oda Sayoko, but she's still far too squishy to tank front row properly.

Also, please make sure you take advantage of "Unit Positioning". Ren Qing-Cheng always needs to be Slot 1 for Skill Rate up. Uesugi Ayako needs to be in Slot 4 so she can buff your attacking units as well as lower the enemy Def. Lu Wu must ALWAYS be in Slot 6. Having Lu Wu in any other slot is a waste as she removes Rage with her attack. So it's absolutely necessary that she's the last unit to attack with her Basic or her Skill. Also, while "Unit Positioning" matters, so does the order in which you use your Skills. For instance, Ren Qing can add 200 Rage to each ally with her Skill. So, it can be more useful to use her skill last (or 2nd last if Lu Wu has Skill) if your other units are really close to getting their Skill. for design Takeda Mei easily. Oda Sayuri's design is badass too. it just screams Oda Nobunaga to me.

For Skills I absolutely love Lu Wu. unlocking her and building up her to be in my team is prolly the best thing I ever did. I'm also starting to become a big fan of Ren Qing cause her basic attack seems to proc the Skill Rate Up at about a 90% rate so it's very reliable!

Important tip: You can ONLY reach the three/four trials area from the quest screen, and the 'proceed' button disappears after you have done one of each. You can complete each twice per day (with a 10min cooldown) but if you back out of that screen you wont be able to go back, so you need to make sure to stay in the trials menu while waiting the full 10mins to get all of them.

Also, you are not oblivious for not knowing about the trials quests; they were a temporary thing added for an event only like 2months ago, which the devs only partially removed from the game afterward (for a little while there was a clearer way of accessing them from the quest menu, which they deleted after the event ended)

I just got my second Soul Jade in the game through Infinity coins. What equipment do you prioritize for awakening?

Depends on your play style.

Weapons require 5 to unlock, plus the spirits, so they're fairly difficult to unlock. However, after the initial five, they become cheaper to awaken again (IE: 1 star = 5, 2 star = 1, 3 star = 1, 4 star = 2, 5 star = 3, etc). Unlocking the first star gives you the ultimate SA.

It's easier to get the weapon shards for the R girls, but they're rapidly useless, so probably a waste to go for them.

You can get the weapon shards and girl shards for several SRs in Boss Rush, so if you're thinking of weapon unlocks, go for those SRs :

Liu Shang-er : 9-2
Date Mei : 8-2, 4-2
Akechi Seiko : 3-2
Toyotomi Kumiko : 2-2

Beyond that, it's really kind of up to you on the other equipment. You can get the equipment shards in Boss rush...

Those are the stronger SR's in my opinion.

Chat has been 100% broken for the last 3-4 days. It's completely unusable atm.

As for Support Staff, never bother with them unless it's a payment issue, and at which point you should use Nutaku's Support not Soul Senki's. Soul Senki Support staff only has 2 responses they're capable of giving out. First response is "We have forwarded this information to the Devs and are sorry for your Troubles." Second response is "We've found no issues with our game and it must be on your end."

I really wouldn't suggest only using R girls. I only have 2 SR and the rest SSR in my team and I'm around 460K. I have my Oda Sayoko built up just as much as an SR and SSR and she's 25-30K weaker for Power than them. Lv Cap is 85, so I honestly can't imagine Oda Sayoko every getting past 80K when she's struggling to reach 60K.

I'm only using the 2 SR cause they're two of the best SR and better than some SSR. Ren Qing-Cheng has the highest Def stat out of all characters in this game. Takeda Mei is the other SR I'm using as the damage she deals is better than a lot of other units in the game. She's just behind Lu Wu in attack power and Lu Wu is one of the best Atk units in the game.

Unlikely. I have Sayoko at 79K bp, all gear 4* awakened, max gear and tier for lvl 85 except 35 levels of badge/tome. 65 levels left to max out spirit power.

Even if maxing her out did get her to 100K, that's a lot of hard to get materials you could have used elsewhere.

That Ruby Gacha advice is good, but it's useless for someone with naturally bad RNG. For someone like myself, Ruby Gacha is a complete waste of Rubies without the 3% buff from the Gold Rokuemon Statue, and even then it's really not all that useful as the characters in the Ruby Gacha aside from Lu Wu, Mori, Mako, and Oda Sayuri all kinda suck or will get replaced with better units.

That Ruby Gacha advice is good, but it's useless for someone with naturally bad RNG. For someone like myself, Ruby Gacha is a complete waste of Rubies without the 3% buff from the Gold Rokuemon Statue, and even then it's really not all that useful as the characters in the Ruby Gacha aside from Lu Wu, Mori, Mako, and Oda Sayuri all kinda suck or will get replaced with better units.

Unless you're spending money (which I would *not* do right now, as the game seems to be in coast mode, with the devs not even updating the starting message for months, no events since November, etc), your current newbie team would be :

Oda Sayuka (R)
Ren Qing (SR)
Oda Sayuri (SSR)
Lu Wu (SSR)
Mori Mayari (SSR)
Ashikaga Mako (SSR)

So, ruby daily strategy is still best bet, as wasting Nutaku Gold on this game currently is ill advised. Note, Akechi Seiko is a damn good SR as well, and can replace any SR, or even Oda Sayuri. Plus her weapon nirvana is super easy to get.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder how much more life this game has as well. No maintenance/notification update for two weeks either? Not a good sign. Honestly, I've just kind of been going through the motions in the game for a while anyways, so it wouldn't be a big surprise if it drops, but would be nice to know if it is going to die, so I can stop putting even my small amount of effort into it.

I'm fairly certain at this point the Devs are just waiting for their Server Contract to end so they can close this game down. Well, that's provided the Devs are indeed finally giving up the Nutaku Gold Gacha, which was their main source of Revenue. This isn't the first week we had no Nutaku Gold Gacha so far this year, so it's plausible we'll have another Gacha this week. It'll certainly give us an idea of the Game's remaining life span if nothing else happens though.

you can give the Right Food to girls at Love For Life 100 for Guild Activity Credit. The food however will provide no benefit to the Girls after Love For Life 100. So the only purpose is for Guild Activity.
