[Event 102.5] Raid event VS Cthugha re-run

So, Nutaku Original Content(tm) struck and we got... this... thing. Hopefully NOT replacing Event 103 Sphinx, since Sphinx event would be reaaaally needed before Dark Tower.

Anyway, couple of fun facts for you:
1. That old thread is a fun read. The game was so different back then and these forums so much more active.
2. This is the first raid event re-run ever. And I mean EVER ever. Not even DMM has done this shit. Are we the testing ground on this shit?
3. Funnily enough, we got the modern rewards (MLB Eidolon and weapon without needing to find one from Raid Tickets), but the old battle system (Ragnaroks can only be spawned at like 2% rate after beating your hosted Expert, and this privilege only lasts 60 minutes) and drops (have fun grinding 300 Souls with 1 Soul per Expert).

The SSRs for this event are utter garbage, so try to make through this shit event.

I'm not too unhappy.

First because I never finished limit-breaking Cthuga when the event ran the first time, because I just wasn't that dedicated to the game and didn't have a great line up (I never rerolled, starting with a decidedly b-grade team; it was 3 months before I got my first SSR Kamihime)

And second because I've been looking at a Fire bow grid, and was one bow short. I actually bought that bow, HP++ and all, with Ori last month. I don't need to buy it again and get to take it to 125 now, so this event has saved me 2-4 Ori. The extra bows I'm not sure what to do with, I am reluctant to fodder SSRs (something I've done before but regretted every time). The extra Cthugas will be a good source of orbs, if I get surplus because oh my god the grind, but the gems, jewels, seeds, tickets and such are always welcome.

I begin playing with Jack O'Lantern, which I believe was the first Raid similar to the current ones. I can get why it changed, I quite dislike the way this event runs. It can take forever to get to 250/100, and for the first time, I'm not sure I will do it.

On a more positive note, she still has the same low HP she did 2 years ago, so in burst time she's an easy 1 turn kill
and...well, even in normal mode she dies in at least 3 turns~

if you have enough of the small mats, just spam away!

I felt unlucky too until I saw this thread. I've spent around 30 half elixirs on this Raid alone, only got 10 divine / 15 devil souls from what seemed to take me forever.

EDIT Also was running DArtagnan with EX Snatch 2nd for better odds lol

Ima skip this, 500 battles to clear an event is no grind, its lunacy.

Did they really call this an “original content”? It's a meme we use around here. I... don't remember the exact way this meme came to be.

I think somebody made a support ticket, along the lines of "DMM had X for months at this point of the game, why don't we have X?" and their reply to that ticket was along the lines of "English Kamihime is original content and doesn't necessarily follow DMM"
Or something like that. I really don't remember the details. But either way, whenever shit fucks up we tend to just go "haha Original Content(tm)!"

Yup, I made a complaint that DMM gave us free x10 chain premium draws for 10 days and nutaku only gave us 1 free draw and the rest were x1 instead of x10 like they were supposed to be.

Their reasoning is because it is their "original content" ... because of their greed.
