People say devs are getting lazy, but to me It feels quite the contrary.

The Epic Quests show the earlier raids had way simpler plots than nowadays. Back then the stories were about subjugating a raging eidolon, usually by some people hiring our mercenary services, or the group investigating some ruins.

This Raid vs Kinshi, on the other hand, has a short story about jpop idols, their fanboys, and a New Year Contest.
