As it's a repeat event with different elements, different from raids/advents, I have decided to make a megathread for the Labyrinth events.
They are being implemented soon into the new year, if Nutaku doesn't buttfuck us again.

As complicated as it looked before, it's very straight forward,
You pick an Eidolon support that guides you through the entire tower until you quit, which you can do at any given time. Or until you die, then you're automatically forced to retreat and claim your rewards.
You can farm for hours and complete the event in less than a day, or you can take it slowly and claim rewards at a time.

For the first Labyrinth, once you exit the arena, you must restart back at the beginning with all the easy enemies and lower drop rates, and then work your way back up. This is easily the longest Labyrinth, but also since it's the beta test version, it's only this one that you have to worry about taking slightly longer.
IIRC, the first Labyrinth may have had stages with more than 1 round, so also another thing that could possibly take longer.

Beginning each stage, you start off with the same amount of HP you would've possibly lost on the previous battles, and keep going forward without regaining HP unless you use heals in battle or use one of the potions that rarely drop.
The stages are pretty much easy until you get into the 100s, which then again, are still pretty easy depending on the player and their teams.

- There's a very high chance that some laps do not have all enemies, so you are automatically granted a free pass and can recieve plenty of rewards from them too.
- To enter the next lap, it is necessary to consume AP again.
- The more laps you have, the easier it will be to collect treasure.
(In ULT [after the Beta Test version], every 30th lap after the 11th lap (increased drop rates of chests on laps 42, 72, 102, 132, 162, 192, and 201st)
- A boss appears every 5 laps, (5, 10, 15, 20, etc...) [e.g. the bosses consist of a variety of different event and battle bosses, like Andromalius, one Advent and one Raid Eidolon, and Skill Measurement-kun]
- "Carbuncle" is a Bonus enemy that may appear on a boss lap instead of the boss, which drops more chests than any enemy, but the chances are low.

After the first Labryrinth, there is a feature implemented to go back to the lap you finished on, if you completed the lap after the boss lap. (e.g. 111, 121, 131) and it brings you back at full HP, but obviously without being able to keep the same Eidolon support, you can resume your progress after you died or left previously.

There's also a later feature to leave the Labyrinth, but not cancel it, in which you can't start any other battles or quests. You can only join raids with BP as raid support, so make sure you've completed all of your dailies and guild order first.
----

Starting off with [Labyrinth Journey: Magic Shrine of the Wind], which is a beta test version, [Starting in late January.]
On this version, there is no save function, so once you've gone as far as you can be bothered to go in the first run, you have to start from the beginning again which resets the enemies, as they get stronger per lap.

Next, [Labyrinth Journey: Magic Shrine of Thunder & Lightning], The implementation of saving stages is here, so you can cancel the Labyrinth at any time, recieve gifts, enhance, join other quests, etc then resume at the same place you were at(if you left on a stage ending in 1, otherwise you're sent back to the previous stage ending in 1, e.g. you leave at 100, you're sent back to 91.) ...with full HP and a new Eidolon support. [Starting in Late May.]

Third, [Labyrinth Journey: Magic Shrine of Holy Light], pretty much the same as the previous Thunder one, no chances thus far. [Starting in late September.]

Forth, [Labyrinth Journey: Magic Shrine of the Blizzard], [Starting in mid August.]

Finally (so far in DMM,) [Labyrinth Journey: Magic Shrine of the Abyss], a new implimentation which makes it much faster, a button to auto the Labyrinth! Though, you still have to click attack on the battles, and click to consume AP if you hadn't already maxed it out at 990-1000, but a nice feature nontheless. [Starting in late Novemeber.]

----

Rewards -

For each Labyrinth, they give a total of 3000 items, [3779 in the first one.]
[Each item comes in 1 chest, whether that being Rainbow, Gold, Silver or Copper.]
e.g. Magic Jewels x100 [x10] you could receive in a gold chest, you can receieve them 100 Jewels at a time, until you've completed the Labyrinth at 100% and collected all 3000 chests.

The rewards consist of elemental items such as
- x20 Runes, x20 Fangs, x10 Holy Star of Light, (hundreds of other smaller elemental materials.)
- 100 Half Elixers, 200 Energy Seeds
- 500 Soul Points, 150 Holy Soul Points
- 3000 Jewels
- x4 SSR wep [3 different types]
- SR Kamihime Ticket
- SR x10 Ticket
- Dragon Eye Shard x2
- Orichalcon x1
and much, MUCH more.

Basically for the non FLB'able Labyrinth weapons, they have brand new skills that give an effect depending on which slot a Kamihime is in.

Arrange: Grants specific effects to party members at the start of battle. (Effects are set on a Special Frame unless otherwise noted.)
<Zeal>: Grants Zeal (+10 Burst Gauge, -10% Max HP) to the Kamihime in position 3 of the party formation (4 Turns).
<Regen>: Grants Regen (+200 HP) to the Kamihime in position 4 of the party formation (10 Turns).
<GTA>: Grants Guaranteed Triple Attack to the Kamihime in Position 3 of the party formation (1 Turn).
<Barrier>: Grants Barrier (2,000 HP) to the Kamihime in position 4 of the party formation (5 Turns).
<DEF↑>: Grants DEF↑ to the Kamihime in position 4 of the party formation (7 Turns).
<Intercept>: Grants Intercept to the Kamihime in position 3 of the party formation (3 Turns).

Just for *Go* button?what? sound's pointless, i would need click then the program also rofl & can't do anything meanwhile for that 6-9sec
Easier then just set up a "bot" with timed algorithms while i'm sleeping then >.>

for me, I use up as much H/E as I can, then do the auto thing in game but use AHK to do two clicks in specific places.
1. attack (you don't have to click aab anymore, since it auto saves from the last battle you did now on DMM, and also ends battles when they're over so without having to click [if it's on auto/aab].)
2. next level (11,21,31, etc.)

it'll use up all your AP then you can just reset it.
with those two constant clicks, you can easily have the event done in under a day.

What's the AP cost per level? Not that I'm hurting for HE, but I didn't realize that this was legit a full-day experience since the first one doesn't save progress...

Is there anything to stop you from just leaving an auto-clicker running at a single spot?Apparently, the buttons being all over the place is the answer to this one. My god this event is outright AWFUL, why are there loading screens when you go in and out of combat? SERIOUSLY.
So to clarify, how many levels is the first labyrinth to fully clear? Are we talking a leisurely morning or are we talking clear your damn weekend? For this event, it looks like ~140 if you go through in one go. Notice that "one go" doesn't mean in one sitting. However, you cannot host anything until you are finished.

So, this event in a nutshell:
1. Do your dailies, GO and AQ.
2. Start your run. For veterans, simply take Solomon with Desertion EX skill - the highest HP mob is 1m, so Solomon can easily solo EVERYTHING. Bring 6x Himes that you want to level if you have any. Newer players might want Andromeda(/Cass) since HP carries over from battle to battle, but skill CDs are reset.
3. Once you've done ~140 floors ( = ~2100 AP = ~35 HEs for rank149 people), you will have everything.

Future Labyrinths will be bringing "game over" bosses which force you to restart your run. This isn't the case in this one, so you should do the entire thing in one go.

Well, the second Labyrinth event sure was better than the first one.

1. Game changes to improve loading times helps a lot. Also leaving battle without needing to click also helps reduce clicks.
2. First Labyrinth had like, what, two different bosses? This time there are tons of different types. Medjed is by far the tankiest of the bunch, but doesn't seem to have any offensive output? Maybe an Overdrive would hurt, but it's not THAT tanky.
3. Scaling! Each floor levels up the enemies. This makes them quiiiiite tanky as I don't have Medea just yet. I actually started getting hit past floor 150. I am worried about newer players though, since the fights will start getting impossible.
4. You now need to get to floor 190-200 to get all loot (some people weren't even done at 201). Which is significantly higher than the ~140 floors of the last time, but due to...
5. Being able to quit and continue from any cleared x1 floor allows you to do the event over multiple days with no trouble is damn nice.
6. The "fuck you, go home" boss at floor 201.

I actually enjoyed my time on this.

6. The "fuck you, go home" boss at floor 201.

I got all my loot by floor 191 or so (I stopped at 150 and restarted the next day, then got murdered by some poor choices around 184 with no potions left over so re-ran a few floors), and therefore didn't meet the floor 201 boss. I'm kinda curious, but possibly not curious enough to want to go back in for basically zero loot. What did I miss? I assume it wasn't literally a thunder Eidolon lying on a sofa who takes zero damage from every attack and just says, "fuck you, go home" for her attacks.

If it was, though, I really would play those levels to see it.

It kills you. Every turn. Think AQ5 boss that does Overdrive every single turn. And it has looooooooooooooooot of HP.

Technically, you can beat it. No, you don't gain anything for killing it. But hats off for dreamlitz for doing it anyway.

Ugh, wind is sooo bad for a such kind of events on aab due to their common recoil damage...
