How good is Rosa

Hi,

I will soon have my first ISU-152 Rosa but due to missing some days I won't be able to get two more copies of her without spending some cores. Which I usually do only to get new tanks.

How much do you find her usefull ? Is it worth some cores to get her Elited ?

I haven't tried her out yet because I'd have to level her up, but she seems similar in stats to the Jagdtiger Odette, who's generally considered one of the best tanks now (albeit with less range in exchange for AoE ability). So she's probably pretty good, although that lower range compared to Odette may or may not be risky.

Destroyers do get the best stat gains when made elite compared to other tank types, for what it's worth.

If you can do the full event path, buy a reset. 8 for 300c is better than the 5 chocolate box unless you only need the 5. Roza is okay. Not a massive upgrade over Svetlana, if you have her. Just more damage. A Jack of all trades master of none sort of TD. Her active isn't much, since it provides no special bonus or effect, but she's still quite good for her passive pen and aoe if you don't have Wotan.

Ciara's good dps fielded cheaply but her passive can be a problem. Kristina+ or Seren do passive pen better in the same general role.

Oh, good point. Usually I wasn't able to to the full path but there I am. I used a lot Svetlana but nowadays far less, so was wondering if Rosa would fit in my team.

Mmm, I have Odette and need to start leveling her. But I wouldn't have compared Rosa to Odette. Their active and passive ability are far too different. Critical shot is far better than Obliterate, but Odette lacks the AoE...

Far as I could tell, nice thing about Clara is how ridiculously tanky she is relative to other not-storm/Tessa TDs. There's so much enemy AoE flying around that a little bulk on your DPS can be pretty darn useful these days.

I don't really consider the AoE to be a very big factor, mainly because the range of it on Roza is so SMALL that you usually won't be hitting more than one target anyways, therefore might as well compare her to other one-target destroyers. I used Odette because she's the only other TD around Roza's stats with 50% penetration that costs 5 instead of 4, therefore making the comparison more easy to quantify. Odette is also one of the best TDs IIRC (unless that's changed? I haven't been keeping up with things that much) so comparing Roza to her is a good way of seeing if Roza stacks up with the best, IMHO.
