Weapon/Eidolan/Accessory sorting order

Is there a way to sort these items alphabetically? When you have hundreds of items, it's way too difficult to remember which items are already being upgraded.

I have a fire gun, first I search by items that can be limitbroken which highlights any duplicates of that gun but after max breaking the first one it no longer appears so unless I remember that specific gun among the hundreds of other weapons I forget it was completed and start limit breaking another...

If items could be sorted alphabetically all duplicated would be clumped together and much easier to keep track of. Needing to sort by each weapon type of each color every time you have the gems to do upgrades but nothing as simple as alphabetical seems like it was intentional but the only thing it accomplishes is creating difficulty.

Anyway... Is there a way to sort them by alpha and I just can't find the button?

I really feel like an idiot... I've been playing on and off since the game hit Nutaku and I never thought to sort by element.

That's the answer. Sort by element. Dumb Johnny, dumb dumb Johnny...

You can FILTER by element and/or rarity and/or weapon type.

If you want to find things that are already upgraded, then sorting by "highest skill level" is probably a good idea as well.

My goal was to allow all of the items listed at the same time but have duplicates grouped together. I'm a hoarder so I have about 400 weapons. I just found that if you sort by element, it also groups the duplicate items together within the element.

As a random example, I have three Celestial Bows (fire)
1. 3star, 376Ttl, lvl 13
2. 0star, 247Ttl, lvl 5
3. 0star, 184Ttl, lvl 1

Instead of filtering by element, you can sort by element and it groups them all together even though they're different ages, breaks, total, and levels. I just never thought to do it that way before.
