If you start the event movie. then reset your game, work up to your girl. It shows the sliders with correction. so you don't have to wait 10 hours, you can just reset just after you start the movie.

That might work for Tier 1 or Tier 2 girls, but if you want the Tier 3 girls, you'd never be able to get their outfits during the event due to such long fake times after each reset. It's better, if you ever reach the twins, to just play it out. Plenty of time during the event to get all outfits IF you've reached all girls, and if not, there is even more time for you to get the outfits for the girls you already have. No need to rush.
