Can you just camp at max rank until next week reset, or is there some sort of decay to overcome.

How much is the max rank? I only got to 17 yet.

Even if you are at max rank you can still win cash from battles, can't you? They give a ton of cash, I even turned off all my cash producing facilities because they give much less than those battles.

The max level is 25. I've found earlier that the higher your earnings per day, the better the reward. I checked that again after seeing your post and found that it now has no effect. I get the same amount regardless.
It seems like the only way to change your rank is win or lose a challenge you initiate. If you are worried about dropping, a casual attack is safe, but gives a lot less money.

I've found that the higher your earnings per day, the better the reward. You might want to try switching them on while doing the challenge and back off after.

I don't think this is true. I had 400m/h (20 energy) and was getting 700m per win when challenges started. Later I lowered income to 60m/h (4 energy) and currently when I win a challenge I get 800M. Maybe it depends on some girl stats (I keep upgrading them) or something else, but not on income on cash panel. I have only 1 girl that can win around rank 17 from time to time, so I can't test winning with another girl.

Yea, I edited my post since that isn't how it works now. When I first noticed it, I did some testing and got a pretty consistent 33% of the current hourly earning. Yesterday, it seems to have changed to be based on your max hourly earnings. This is a very positive change.
I tried a couple different girls, but my rewards seem to be the same.
It's a new feature. I wouldn't be surprised if they tweak it again if they think there is a problem.

Most vital question: how many diamonds at rank 25?

4 for 23, 6 for 24, and 10 for 25.
