-sigh- Still 2,400 rubies to go. 8 more outfits and I got them all... well, at least I'm able to reach 15,000 level ups in tournaments easily these days. ^^

They finally made an event you cannot finish within the current time frame using the current event speed.

At max click rate, you can get 890 event points with 10 starfish. I used 14 more starfish and got the same rate, for a total of 24 starfish and 2136 points. So the math is 898 gems needed for 80,000 event points. The ~9 days of the event is 2 starfish per hour. That is only 432 star fish that you can get from chests. I also doubt they'll be giving away 500 starfish in the next weekend competition. So, unless there is one heck of a speedup, towards the end of the event, you can't complete the BJ event with considerable investment with gems.

Assuming they do add some sort of speedup towards the end, I'd hold on to my starfish and make them count as much as possible. Using them before any sort of speed up bonus will be a huge waste, and I've already used 24, and I started the event late this time, ~9pm, EST last night.

I, uh, used 24 starfish as well... got 14,136 points out of it. O_o

with 24 i got around the 5000. Also the event is 3 days shorter then normal plus with the click limit. It seems their growing towards more pay to win the event style of gameplay.

At max click rate you get around 570-600 points per starfish. You're not even at 3 click/sec Oo

If you're getting less than 500 points using an auto clicker, there's something wrong with your settings.

Yeah, it seems like autoclickers are getting capped at about 19 clicks a second, same as last event. You should be able to pull in somewhere between 550-570 clicks per star.

Assuming 550 per star, that's 146 total needed.

For 24 stars, you should have at least 13200 points.

Pro tip - only cash in one star at a time. Every time you're cashing in a star, you have the opportunity to get bonus stars. So if you cash in them all at once, that's only one 30 second period to get bonus items. If you cash in 20 individually, that's 20 thirty second periods to get bonus items.

I tried this the last time. After using 60 items taking more than 30 minutes, I ended up with 3 extra items. I dunno if it was worth the extra time or not, with such a low drop rate. I could've also just been unlucky, which is usually the case.

It does look like the drop rate was reduced compared to previous event...
