For the event, it looks like aiming for the 24 hour legendary mission is the way to go. New background, multiplier increase and 1,000 summoning stones. I do 30 minute missions until that one pops up, and finish it a bit early if I have enough rubies. That should nab the 5,000 stones within a week. We'll see what happens then.
