Yep, the pattern is unbroken, devs changed the active event. I'll bet that well over half of the players weren't going to complete it. I've been babysitting this one pretty closely, and I still was not certain I'd get the third outfit before they extended it by 2 days.

I'm often left scratching my head when a new event starts, wondering if they finally released one that a dedicated player can't complete without money. Regardless of any initial doubts, when the end of any event actually arrives I'm left with complete faith that the devs are NOT a bunch of money-grubbing assholes. I think they genuinely care about their game and delivering a good experience, even if it's "just" a silly little porn clicker.

Regarding "quest" events (like the current one)...

I still haven't homed in on the best way to handle these things, probably because I haven't tracked enough data to make the solution obvious. Maybe somebody else can shed some light on things.

Does buying additional quest slots change the likelihood of being able to earn all the rewards (outfits and emails)?

I realize that more simultaneous quests = more chances for legendary quests that increase your multiplier and give you max currency for the time spent. If all other things are equal, it would clearly be best to unlock all slots before unlocking the first reward.

The potential gotcha is that every time you unlock something (slots or rewards), it increases the cost of the ones you don't have yet. If you buy a slot too late in the event, it won't have time to pay for itself before the end and you could miss out on a reward.

How late is too late for buying a quest slot?

Has anyone unlocked all slots AND rewards without spending gems?
