hmhmm, 1.5x gold must be what twilightdream needed. And 30% stamina off for whale ship mission (all or specific stage? need confirmation), so nothing to do with me and my teeny size squads for now.

Campaign quest available until the next maintenance. Get 10 premium gacha tickets and 2 flower gems for running 20 gathers.

OK I know this information is somewhere but I can't find it anywhere and believe you me, I have looked. So I started DMM about a week ago and most of it is pretty straightforward but there's obviously some big differences too like the match event that is going on right now which took me a couple trial and error to figure it out.
So...now I have some items that don't exist in Nutaku along with a whole bunch of stuff in the Office that I cannot find any kind of translation anywhere for in all of the guides both here and over at the Wikia forum and me, being who I am, want to understand what they are so I don't inadvertently piss away items that may have use later on. It's a bunch of little manyu-type items with a little piece of equipment in the lower right corner and appear to be 2*, 4*, and 6* (or something like that) levels of quality. They sit in and count as a "character slot" as well as 3 or 4 types of...what...petals or something that are also taking up char slots just like a manyu or bloom dragon would.
Any ideas?
Also, I can post my DMM friend ID in the appropriate forum later to get some allies to help me get thru these events since I have a pitiful 20K team 1 and downhill from there as the DMM RNG has been awful to me including a waste of a 50 gem roll slamming me with a bunch of 3*s and literally one of the 2 4*s I hate but oh well, I also have a couple units that don't even exist in Nutaku, so I'll take that since, while they may not be pure waifu material, they can be my "waifu for today" type girls...lol

The equipment/manyu-like things are exactly what that sounds like: manyu for equipment. They're among your equipment, not in character slots. The petals, as well as birds and elixirs, are for characters' second evolutions. They require 2 birds matching the girl's element, 2 petals matching her nation and an elixir of her rarity. The wiki's Evolution page goes into more detail.

I'm ok with being called dense...so...to clarify...in DMM you can level up equipment by using the eq manyus OR lower level equipment like in Nutaku then?

Yep you can. In anoher words, if you have enought equipment-manyu you gan level up an equipment to lvl40 for only 1800 gold. It's useful when you start.
