Oh, does beating the boss give you some special rewards beyond what you're able to farm normally?

Bosses gives 4000 medals the first time you clear them (100 for the first easier one) and nothing after this. But clearing rewards came back each event.
Even if power creep make it easy for advanced players, Nidhogg boss battle is still a hard thing to do. You need a certain amout of rainbows to beat it. Golds are not enough. On my Alt I have 13 rainbows and it was hard to kill the last Nidhogg boss.
It should be easier next time, when you got more power. But if Lavender is your only 6*, you must go on the FG shop and buy Kugaisou for 90 FG. She is a solid Crit 6*.

Kugaisou wouldn't help kill the bosses even if I had the resources to get her to level 80. The damage output just isn't there and I have incredibly crappy synergy due to lack of skill flowers. Not that I expected to be able to put together a decent team in a couple of weeks.

No but a 6* is still a 6*, espacially at this price. She will help anyway. And, if it was not a bug, you can buy her twice. Just wait for more 6* and next time you will be able to kcik that Nidhogg ass.

She will have to wait anyways. I would like to get a buffer of 250 FG in case a step-up gacha happens and it takes a long time to level up a 6* cost-effectively with ampules.

after being violently raped by gacha rate RNG in Kancolle, I found time to fully complete the current Nidhogg event. It's getting kind of old.

I dont know which rainbow to get next. Probably Snowdrop because Yuuki Hagure.

Should be better than the previous one.

You're saving for a FG step-up gacha right? Unfortunately, that has never been a thing on DMM and may never happen. However, saving gems in-case a girl you really like is released ain't a bad idea.

I guess he speak about the 55x gacha. That explain why 250 FG. But 55x gacha should not come soon.
