I set it to the medium setting because I was running Monotropastrum's event, one of the events from back when full clears of one or more stages required good luck with random tiles and/or having your squads be at certain speed levels.

I spent way more time tinkering with my squads for the stage 1-3 full clear reward than I should have but at least I didn't end up spending stamina over and over in the process.

You don't actually need to set it to medium speed for stages like that, since they also added the ability to retreat from a stage during battles.

Yeah, I noticed that later on while running through Solidaster's reissue after I had picked up all of Mono's blooms from the shop. Now I just have to remember that the retreat button is actually there during battles when I'm running new stages.

Bleh. Apparently I forgot to pick a version of Naae for the last event so all I got was the super upgrade material. I guess super pierce Naae will have to wait for the next event (and super magic Naae will have to wait for the one after that).
