▼ Sub-Event: The Decisive Battle of Nidhogg | Maze of Sweltering Heat (7 May 2018 – 14 May 2018)
In this campaign, flower knights enter the heart of Nidhogg to defeat the Protector and seal the Core. In the second iteration, the mechanics are virtually the same as the original, though there are a few changes.
- The Core Stage (SP: 680,000) can now be replayed even after it is cleared.
- A stage marked with a wakaba symbol signifies that it is relatively easier than other stages in the same difficulty tier. It also disregards the type of skill.
- One stage type makes skills that deal damage to 2 and multi-hit skills more effective.

The Avatar of Sweltering Heat and Twilight ended with a total of 39,147,110 subjugated underlings. As remuneration, everyone will be rewarded with the following on May 14.

■ Missions
- Story Dungeons: Story Dungeon 49 has been added; it requires clearing of Story Dungeon 48. It features 3 new raid bosses, one of which was the winner of the pest-naming contest during the 10th Nico Live.
- Whale Airship dungeons are open until May 14.
- Nation Dungeons: Stage 2-3 has been added to each nation.
- Reprint Event: Event 73, Flowers to the Wasteland, will be playable from May 10 to May 23. The event character, 5★ Skullcap, and 5★ Azalea (Newcomer) will be obtainable in this reprint edition.

■ Quest
Quests for the characters that recently attained blooming with features were added.

■ Garden
- Garden objects based on the top 3 event characters of the last poll have been made:
"Cowardly" series (Marvel of Peru)
"Resentment" series (Spring Starflower)
"Expectations" series (Lavender)

- In addition, a garden object was made based on the winner of the 10th Nico Live pest-naming contest, カ・アリング (Ka・Aringu); it is a wordplay on "curling" and "ant" (ari).
- 20 new pests were added to the pest album.
- There is a new pest type. In line with this, the pest album filter has been reset.

■ Exchange
- Updated Wares: Bond Crystal, Sun Medal, Thousand Flower Medal (obtainable from Maze of Sweltering Heat only), Gold.
- Reprint Event 71 tab was removed.

■ Fixes have been applied to the following:
- Rarity Promotion Synthesis: Skill level of the base character was not being displayed correctly on the info screen.
- The BGM did not play properly after losing parties in subjugations.
- Typo errors.
