Well... RIP on the performance factor. I cannot load this on my tablet since they updated, which is where I primarily play from. Pretty disappointing... maybe they'll fix it... tomorrow? I think I'm hoping for too much though...
I bet only 20% of the time can my first team on a whale-ship clear. Usually they die on the last or second to last set of pests and the second team has no problem finishing up. These skill boosts will, hopefully, improve that percentage and maybe make clearing all pests with team 1 a reliable occurrence. It's also quite possible that I do not really understand how to set up a team that can efficiently clear these. Regardless, skill boosts for whaleship pest levels is welcome, imo.

At least until stage 17 where swan ship mechanism is introduced, you don't have to worry about your team died at all. It just slightly affect solar drive power, the ship power doesn't. Other than that just stack your most powerful members in 2 teams. Fill the rest with highest TP girls you can effort with correspondence attribute. The skill activation rate for Whale ship can't be altered anyway. So just pray Nazuna won't troll you.
