I think the games listed were all "new" games, released in 2017. They're probably looking into scrapping a couple of them again, but wonder whether any of them are considered interesting by players, even though those players don't really play them much. That's a metric unavailable from their regular logs, but would highlight potential moneymakers that just need some improvement.
For example, Crystal Maidens isn't a terrible game by itself. It just lacks a lot of content, it needs more maps to play and events to join, and it could do with some ~30 more girls than it has now. It's hardly worth spending money on it, because most girls (except for the angel and the 3 event girls we got for christmas, the first "real" event) will get added to any players' roster eventually, just by logging in every day and playing a bit. Within two months of reasonable play, a new player can get all of them (except the angel). So, basically, the game needs more carrots for the players, both to invest and to stick around.
