Yesterday, I was playing around with different combinations centered on my slowest 4*, 3* (never thought I would use the likes of Cary who had been collecting dust), and even 2* (!!!) That said, I put dupes of Bianca Clover and Strawberry on each team. Speeds ranged from 440 to 460. I got 244 most of the time and 250 only once.
Later that day, I decreased every squad speed to less than 400, repeated ?-3 and missed 1 of the 2 moving pest groups, ending up with just 234 pumpkins.
Last night, before that special gacha update, I reverted to what worked, carefully removed a few golds/silvers and had something like the one here (see image), netting me 253 and 259 and called it a day.

As funny as it looks, I get results.
I have an even more outrageous strategy at the moment:
- Team 1 (448): Main pest-clearing team with 5* and 4*. Should be strong enough to clear 3 of the 4 pest groups without blast assist. Should also be neither too slow (so it can catch up to the 3rd pest group, the one moving from west to middle path) nor too fast (so it won't destroy the bottom lane nest). Letting it die in the boss fight so as to not kill my farm if it reaches the flag.
- Teams 2-4 (~210): Only consists of the slowest 3* and 2*. Not for pest clearing, but for collecting extra pumpkins from small pests. Slow enough not to run over >1 nest with each movement.
- Helper (300-400): Should be strong enough to clear the 4th pest group as well as any remaining boss left unkilled by team 1.
I've been using the following camp deployment for all my runs, aiming to stay on the map for as long I can:
Teams 1-3 at NW/top camp (as squads move from 1 to 5, I place the first 3 teams at the camp farthest from the flag)
Team 4 and helper team at SW/bottom camp with team 4 going second on the fork node (causing the helper to loop around for a second time, preventing it from reaching boss node for a while)
