[Event 27] Love Knight (19/04/17 - 02/05/17)

I'm hoping that this event isn't too taxing. I've been throwing my manyu away on new girls rather than upgrading my current ones lately and these bosses are hard-hitters.

The chocolate bar to stamina ratio is god awful for expert. I mean, it is in every map but you'd figure with the small amount of chest in the map they'd throw you a bone. Bad ampie/LG farming spot compared to last event.

Edit: Just got my Buttercup and she is probably one of my favourite event girls so far. She's got the same feel to her outfit as Ivy, but with less crazy talk.

wow they managed to bring the update today.

That's what they did last time an event was shorter than it was supposed to be, it was the first time we had one with a summonable stage, and could repeat it indefinitely as long as we fit it within a couple of minutes.

Yandere Nun, Chainsaw girl, and Steampunk goggles with pretty great overall skills and passives convinced me to pull.

100 Gold: Dupe Epidendrum.
5/11: Heliotrope, Crytanthus, Balloon Vine, Waterlily, and Wax Vine

I was going to drop 100 gems, but I guess I'll stop at 50 now...honestly speechless.

Edit: Seems like there's a bug in the current event. If you don't kill all the mobile pests but still kill all the bosses you still get the 3 Star Rewards for killing all the pests anyway.

Dunno if this is intended or not since some maps have only bosses and mobile pests.

The level-up boss battle hangs when it's supposed to switch to the second team. Same result whether I use skip or not.

Hmm.. Also noticed that the Garden Reward, the Choco Statue or whatever, doesn't actually appear in the garden options once you receive it. Looking for more bugs.

Wasn't it stated when they introduced mobile pests that they aren't mandatory for the star rating? I could be misremembering though. Yeah that is a lucky pull, I want Wax Vine but I don't trust my horrible luck to get me anything good.

Fortunately yes, mobile pests have not counted for medals. They can get to places your squads can't even reach so that's not unreasonable.
If anyone on my allies list is here: would you appreciate a slightly optimized helper squad? (4 slices - 2 rainbow, 2 gold, and Cyrtanthus). It'd be a bit of work to swap things around since I usually use set 1 but I'll do it if useful. I haven't gotten a boss to higher level yet so who knows.

got all of buttercup's slots and skill lvls already :P
