    Few "noob" questions

    Hi there guys!

So ive missed only few 1st weeks since this game got on to nutaku BUT i play many nutaku games so i play it way too casual mostly login only to do that 3 gatherings and spend stamina,, wasnt rly checking much else mostly was even lazy to do daily quests. And now when im not even in top 20 in ally power rankings and havent succeeded in any 80stamina whale missions i kinda started to do things properly. But i need some infos 1st because they were changed ingame over time imo so here it goes.

    1. Ampys, back in who knows when i noticed there was limit written on how much i can boosts, cant find it now. And who to use them on, weaklings or strong units?

    2. Whale missions some guide or helps anywhere here?

    3. Auto-setup total power high-low 499.552 or should i manually setup?

    4. Blooming just today i started to check it up, noticed i could bloom few girls myself, should i?

    5. TP equipment doesnt adjust, does it work at all in game? have plenty of it pretty much from every event there was any.

Im lvl 158 and have 17 rainbows so i think i should do much better in whale runs Q.Q .. as for rainbow dressbloom never had spent a dime there tho so most girls have only one slot.

Some other thing i missed to get max out of girls? affections i started to do some 2ones (4 girls so far)

A maximum of 100 of each type of ampy per unit, which means the maximum boost they can give *any* girl is +3000 HP, +1000 ATK and +400 DEF. It's best to use them on your best units (6* and 5* girls), but if your favourite girl happens to be a 3*, and you want to play with her as long as she's viable to play with, then nobody is stopping you from using ampies on her. (someone on these forums did just that).
It's best to start feeding ampies at low levels, simply because it costs way less goldcoins, and the ampies provide some experience as well. But, since ampies are so rare, you will eventually end up putting ampies on high level girls anyway. More expensive, but it's still progress.

    2.
Check the damage type of the whale mission you're doing, and make sure that at least 16 (preferrably more, just in case) of the girls you put on board are your best girls of that type. Also make sure that your first 2-3 teams are the best girls you have, preferrably of the weakness type, ideally also with some usefull group synergies, so the pests don't take them down.

    3.
Auto set-up works, but manual setup so you get group synergies is always better. Often, using slightly weaker girls that synergize well result in a higher total output than using the "best" girls.

    4.
If you can afford it, then yes. It's the same as evolving, just even better. It's just very expensive, and those elixers may be frustrating to farm.

    5.
It doesn't add to the stats shown for total power, but supposedly it functions fine in practice.

    1. There's a 100 of each limit. ie the 3 stats cap at 3000, 1000, & 400.

    2. Make a whale ship of each type (including generic). Start by using auto setup Total Power High-Low for each ship. Then starting from squad 8, start replacing units with the desired type until the ship changes to the correct colour (eg add slices girls to make slice whale ship).

    3. Doesn't matter too much with that many rainbows. I prefer to manually keep all 4 squads a similar speed on my main team.

    4. Of course.

    5. Yes they do work.

Starting with the last question: do you expect to get any of the currently bloomable 6* soon, or would you gamble on one of your 6* to become bloomable anytime soon? (there's some theory that Viola Yukata is next on the list, but nothing is certain). If you feel you want to hold out and bloom another girl, then that's pretty understandable. But Cherry does improve quite a bit from blooming. Her stats go up by 15-20%, she will get a 10% ATK buff for the entire party, and against bosses, the ATK buff now counts for the entire party, and they get another 10% damage bonus as well.

Whether it's worth it to bloom a gold unit: well, for strength, things are roughly like: 6* Bloomed > 5* Bloomed > 6* Not Bloomed > 5* Not Bloomed.
So, if you have the resources to spare, it won't hurt to bloom a few of your favourite 5* girls. But do keep in mind that you may eventually replace them with bloomed 6* girls. But, we're also still 7 or 8 months away before we have 20 unique bloomed 6* girls to make a full unit, so 5* girls you bloom now will last you for a while.

Now, finally the first question: that's really personal. First choice is always your favourite girl. But from your collection, I'd say Alpinia, Anemone and Cherry are the ones benefitting most from HP and DEF ampies. Alpinia from taking less damage and a bigger healthpool, for her lifesteal to become even more effective, Anemone because of her counter ability, Cherry because she lowers the enemy's ATK, which is the first step of making her very tanky in encounters (second step is having more girls with that same passive in her squad, third step is raising her DEF to ridiculous levels).
Every girl benefits from ATK ampies, though Alpinia does get special mention on this one as well, since she has life steal, so benefits from ATK both offensively and defensively.

Something else to consider that many people don't remember to mention, Having at least 1 girl of each type in each squad makes missions easier for that extra damage buff. Also for whale missions it's best to get a full squad of the weakness (hit for hit missions, slice for slice etc) as your first squad to mow down the lvl 100+ pests that board your ship.

Other than that, placing skill rate girls on the same squad can be very effective, I also find that making squad 1 mostly AoE girls with skill activate tends to win most fights in the first round.

With your girls I'd DEF / HP ampy the hell out of Anemone and have her take the extra skill 'Taunt', with her 3 hit skill she's also worth ATK ampies IMHO.

That's my second unit (which is also my first unit on Whaleship missions) in a nutshell. The unit is great for clearing maps. It's just not ideal against raidbosses, although I hardly invested in their defense either.

Another thing to improve squads, is placing the ones with an AOE special attack in front of the girls with a special attack that targets only 1 pest.
Multi-strike units, like Anemone should be placed last on your squad. The first three strikes of Anemone's special attack always target one or two units if they happen to survive the hits. Only if the first two units get killed from the first two hits will her third strike aim for a third target (if one is available). That makes her ideal for the last position, since she can perfectly clean up remaining pests that way. On the other hand, if only 1 target is available, then all 3 strikes will hit that one target, which adds up to more damage than the special of several single-target girls. Her recently added fourth strike hits all targets, by the way, but it isn't as lethal as her first three hits.

Don't bother with that. One character hitting for 50% more damage is at best a 10% damage increase for the party. You're just trading a boost against one type for another and there's no guarantee anyone'll attack the right enemies. Then there's the fact that you can't crit when hitting weakness. You also lose the small but stacking benefits of whaleship gear.

Thanks again for your time and replies guys,,
Will focus on that 3 girls u guys mentioned and bloom just that 6* for now, even that probably in few days since im on 250k gold now only.
I have this "new" event already done, whats best for gold to dump stamina on?
Did some "cleaning" in equip inventory -- again full lol (380/375) o) and found this just lying there unequipped https://imgur.com/a/9UAsk
Finding out here that there is so big limit on ampys kinda made me sad because i was spending 3of each pretty much on every 5*+ girl (almost 100 girls) some even twice that. True i have still ~140 ampys in inventory but to use them will need another 1m gold ~)) just occured to me i should prolly use them mostly just after i bloom girls o since 95% of my girls already 70lvl

Well thanks again for your time, wish u guys Good luck in gachas and have fun!

Generally, event stages aren't bad for gold. And there will be a second phase to the event, with even bigger bosses to kill and more stuff in the eventshop to buy, so doing those isn't a waste of stamina. There are three maps on the special page (if you scroll down a bit) that give only gold, which yield even more gold per stamina (but, apart from very little experience, nothing else!). The best gold-map is mori-mori, which is only available on saturdays. It gives 26k-40k gold for 100 stamina (but 40k rarely happens, it's usually about 28k-33k. And again, it only gives gold, nothing else that's really of use!).
Campaign-maps 12-3 and 12-5 also give nice gold per stamina (and more experience, with a chance to get ampies). At least, I think it was those two maps.
