Happens to me too, when I get the race reward from the gift box before the popup with the race result, since that adds a "ghost" amount of currency.

Like when the game fails to refresh correctly after selling units, and they still appear when you sell the next ones

take it from someone actually designing their own game (using RPG Maker MV). You really have to test out as much as possible that's affected with the slightest change, cause something real simple like changing the character's name does way more than you'd think.

granted, it's possible to overlook something... but you know it's pretty bad when it seems like you've broken the majority of the game with one slight change and it looks like there's been little to no effort to fix it.

coding and such can be hard, but when you have the tools and templates, it's not as hard as you'd think

If I'm not mistaken, DMM switched from race rewards going in the gift box to rewards being added to your inventory directly. Nutaku doesn't have a good track record where changes of any sort are concerned.

tried to give this one more shot since i had about 20k trees... then i got an error around 10k left and dropped to 68....

seriously nutaku, what the fuck? i'm done with this event cause of that. not trying anymore...

all i'm missing out on is billy getting skill lv 5 anyway since that was the last thing i was gonna get (since i rarely use gold girls now). i'm still in the process of leveling 5 different rainbow girls and 3 of them still need to bloom...

You didn't have 20k trees, you had less. The game "gave you" the trees from the boat race twice, but knew behind the scenes you really only had half that, so when you tried to trade them in it crashed.

The first time I did that it showed me that boat race message again and gave me the fake trees again... so I crashed again.

Next time in, I only had 10k trees and it let me buy gold without a problem. Lot of headache to work around their distribution bugs.

Will that is very probably the case, it is still frustrating.
