Sorry if that sounds harsh but to provide professional quality work, you need pro gear + training with that equipment.
It's ok, I think it's not harsh. And I do really understand about it. Of course I'm gonna use digital pen for future work. And I think using those gear can't be more difficult than using brush and watercolor, because it's basically use pen and knowledge of drawing software.
Now, I try to work digitally with my own style. Meanwhile I hope you will find some artist that suit your team expectation.
