Is game bugged or working as intended?

All of a sudden all my stats went down. I had like 2000 endurance and 3000 ego, but then I suddenly lose a battle against Dark Lord because I have 900 ego and 79 endurance. And I didn't do any sort of changes to my equipment.

Its said, if you boost your stat by one points it should be back to normal.
