Thread: Big update > daily missions, earn more Xp and free kobans ;)

I finished all my daily missions at 21h30 yesterday. Back then the timer before new quest showed 3h30. So i guessed that it resets midnight.
Today, it's 08h30, there's no new mission and the cool down timer shows 15h30. So no new mission for today.

The missions don't seem to be resetting at the time the timer states they do. Last night I got some missions including an epic randomly during the night about 3 or 4 hours before the timer, then when the timer reached 0 I got nothing and it just reset.

what i've noticed, when I first checked on release, we had 4 or 5 missions. However everytime I log back in (haven't tried repeating in short notices) I get a new mission added. It seems it's almost impossible for me when closing tabs to clear all daily missions. Not that it's bad but the "reset" timer, doesn't mean anything.

The lies of the mission reset timer may be part of a bigger problem that had already existed. Since I started playing the timer on the battle page that claims to be showing how much longer a particular judge will be judging has NEVER been accurate. It will be counting down to something 4 or 5 or 6 hours away, but then suddenly an hour or two later there's a different judge. I've noticed something like that with missions as well. The timer starts counting down 24 hours, but might actually reset 6 or 12 or 18 hours later (arbitrary examples, haven't kept track to be exact but it's clearly been all over the place).

I usually only see it when there's about 4-5 hours left on the timer before any new ones show up.

oh shit, just got the 1st daily that gives kobans

I've seen a couple of them offer kobans by now. Both times they were marked as epic, just like that one. One was worth 6 and the other was worth 3.

I've also been noticing that it seems like the mission rewards are actually completely random, and I think it also decides at random if it will mark missions as rare / epic. Probably with a limit of 2 rare missions and 1 epic mission showing in your list of 5 missions. (I think I might have seen at least one mission repeat as a different rarity.)

I also saw a new addition the last time I completed my dailies where it's now giving one more random reward after completing all 5 of your missions. (Mine was just a common magazine. But whatever.)

not sure if this has been changed recently, but I just got 2 gold bordered items from the daily missions for the first time today.

whereas before, I only saw green items and the occasional koban reward.
