Thread: Contests

How do contests work? I am looking at the contests tab rn and I have nothing there

Check it again. Maybe they were still in the middle of updating things when you looked because I see three panels on the left

"Eternal Rivalry"
"All shall fear your skills!"


Clicking on each one shows more information about it.


The first one gives points for spending energy and also for earning xp. As far as I can tell it only counts the xp if you actually gain it. I'm at level 40 so xp gains get nullified and I'm not seeing any change in my score from that. And I'm caught up on the story so I can't earn points for spending energy at the moment.

The second and third ones are both about defeating the chapter bosses, with the third one also including an option for PVP battles (which I checked and they must be started from the battle arena, NOT the tower of fame).

The panel on the right will show a leaderboard for the current selection, and that's where you see your current score for that contest. (If you're on the leaderboard at least. Seems to be a top 51 list. It put me at 37th on the energy&xp one, but technically only two users are currently showing as having any points there so ALL the rest of us are tied for 3rd with zero points. I'm curious what people placed lower in the rankings see there.)

Ok, can I do normal missions meanwhile?

For me there are no contests...I already refreshed the browser and nothing.

P.S: Ok, now I got 100 extra kobans it just took a while...

Each one of you that had a blank space should have received the kobans already!

That first contest pretty much sucks if you're maxed out on levels and are all caught up on the quest.

We would have expected a raise in the level cap to make the most recurrent players able to score in this new thing, and/or adding a new chapter.

How the hell can I spend energy? I dont have any quests available Anyway im ranked 13 with 0 points.

Does the Contests each 2 day rest? Since today and tomorrow wont get enough time to play the game
Is it permanent and not for a limited time? Thanks
