Suggestion for two flaws in the game. (Flaw 2)

So, I've been playing for over a month. I have a friend who started two days ago. I just realized now that this game has two points where it is severely lacking. I am thus going to address two flaws in the game in two separate forums so an admin or developer would hopefully view them and give each their own attention because they are both necessary.

The story is where this game really sells itself and is truly the best part of the game as well as where the creator’s/developer’s work really shines, but because of how much energy it takes and how long it takes to charge that energy, players will spend HOURS stuck on the same picture and only get their patience rewarded for 3-5 more pictures to that scene and story advancement – sometimes only 1 even. Likewise, the Herb Seller in the market is pretty much useless. He provides no value to the game in any way shape or form and is unnecessary for arena victories.

Solution for both points: Replace him or at least his stock effects with the following

Make the herbs instead give you Energy to keep going in the story at a unit/price ratio of 1 to 1,000 (example: energy for $5000, 10 for $10000, etc.). Herbs are useless to everyone right now, giving you temporary buffs that mean nothing seeing as how the tower gives no rewards for ranking at all. So, allow us to spend money so we can enjoy the Story Mode and its sex scenes seeing as this is the best part of the game where the most time and effort is being put by the creators/developers. You could even add in along with story energy different herbs for Arena energy since it is a separate resource. I would suggest making that cost significantly less unless you think people would abuse it in some way.

You can already buy energy to progress the story, for kobans. So you're saying "take a thing that can make revenue for the developers and make it free instead". Personally, I think the reason they force story progression to be so slow is to stop everyone from just charging through and piling up at the end, waiting for new chapters to be released, then getting bored and not coming back. This way, they hold you in the game coming back to click along a couple of times a day, while the devs work on a real combat system or whatever they're doing.

Everyone agrees the game is unbalanced in a lot of ways, but removing a revenue stream and removing a source of player "stickiness" isn't going to help.

That's a fair comeback. However with Epic Pachinko, refreshing the stores, auto-collecting from your harem, instantly completing missions, and changing opponents in the arena, you could argue there would still be a lot of use for Kobans. And arguably, it's just as boring watching a sex scene in slow motion. Slower motion. You would have to play the game continuously for at least 48 hours to get through a quest. Longer for people who have school, jobs, or social matters to attend. I'm more concerned with them retaining new players than keeping old ones, because the new ones will have more interest in trying the game and staying with it if they can get through a decent amount of the story which means they would get more revenue from Kobans.

That's all true. In the end I just don't get this game's revenue model. Does anybody spend real money to buy kobans to collect harem revenue or re-stock the store? I dunno, but I bet not more than once or twice. Same for progress energy. The only thing I could see spending real money for is epic pachinko spins for exclusive girls.

But perhaps that's just me, I don't know.

Yes, people do in fact use kobans for that... And some people do it often... That's also why they don't remove the autocollect button, it actually gives them some nice revenue.

    dat's a stupid lie

why would anyone waste kobans on collecting money from harem? No one would. People complain about it after accidentally clicking on it. They never fixed it or add a warning pop up for new playas

there's a difference between spending kobans, and spending kobans that you paid actual real money for.

I'm all for the devs getting paid for their work. I guess just because their monetization strategy doesn't work on me doesn't mean it doesn't work at all. So yay for them getting paid!
