How do people get level 80+ already?

Since the only way to get XP is through daily quests now, how come some people are already level 81? I missed some quests after the update, but have been collecting every quest since then, and am only level 60. I don't see how the few days I skipped could amount to twice the XP. Is there some way to P2W experience?

Or are they people that were far behind on campaign, and are now always going to be ahead of players that maxed out before the update?

Oh I didn't realize PVP still gives experience. How much is it, relative to quests?

They only way they could be that high of a level is probably spamming PvP battles which give you between 20-25 xp per match (from what I've gotten) so they would have to fill up constantly using kobans.

I don't use kobans for buying extra battles. I even missed a day when we went on a road trip. I'm level 78. There is a character named TheCaptain who is level 103. He had to spend a few kobans or never sleep.

BTW there are three ways to get XP. PvP battles, daily missions and the quest. For many the third option is not available. Most of your XP will be through daily missions though if you skip PvP battles you would miss out on 20-25 xp for each battle you win. That can add up.

I'm 86 now, was 40 and waiting for new story scrolls when the update landed. My XP is from PvP, missions, and the new scroll that's opened.
