    Just now getting a girl isn't something I relish it's just a painful reminder how expensive this will be - I suppose if I dedicated the time road the harem and milked it for every dime...it'd be acceptable, but I have commitments etc and don't want to have to put that much effort in to cope with poorly planned update

    Few things:

    If you ignore 5 early girls with their irregular cash/h values, all other girls be it event or world ones have 1270 cash/h at 3 stars.

    If you assume that when you get next girl all previous ones are already upgraded, then technically if you ignore other sources of cash (trolls, PvP, selling freely obtained items) it will take you exactly the same time to upgrade 10th girl, 50th girl or 100th girl. Cause upgrading her will cost 10/50/100 more than first girl, but you will also have 10/50/100 more cash/h from the entire harem.

    With my 67 girl sized harem, and semi-active play-style (collect once per 1-2h and just do PvP or trolls when event is up or I lack girls from new worlds), I gain enough cash to slowly upgrade my new girls. So at least upgrading to 3 stars is more or less reasonable for semi active players. Problems will show up only for people who play little to none, or people who whaled and bought all girls and now need to upgrade them all where they all are low affection/income levels. And probably there will be issues in future when more girls will get 5 stars, but till then they could give us means to get affection faster, change scaling on 4/5 stars, or just release them so slow, that in-between upgrading to 3 stars new girls from events/worlds you would be able to slowly upgrade older girls to their newly added 4/5.

    There is also the thing of how much you can gain cash from selling those mentioned before freely acquired items, with each level up they are worth more and more, and some people actually already calculated/theorized that at levels close to cap limit, you would actually gain so much cash, harem/trolls/PvP could become obsolete, of course if they won't change anything in the time it takes us to reach those levels.

    In conclusion to the above - upgrading girls is more expensive than before, but doable, even with increasing costs for each new girl time to upgrade them inst really going up, upgrading will be faster with each level up.

    Thou you could argue the reasons why they increased the costs. Supposedly players themselves complained it was to easy, and devs would also say that data about players play-styles support that idea that most people want to fondle with their harems, but you could argue that its a biased wrong way of interpreting that data, as game type basically makes us players spent a lot of time in harem ;]

    Also you criticize how expensive it is to upgrade girl affection in perspective of how long it takes to get even in terms of higher cash/h, but thats basically a cherry on top of a cake.

    What you get from affection is:

    - stats multiplier for sake of battle in your 3 girl team (I know its useless now, but it can become useful with future changes)
    - affection scenes and avatars (and I know that most of those are lame - they are for me at least)
    - higher cash/h you mentioned, but also higher time between collects, which in turn allows you to lose less cash if you collect only once per few hours

    So there are more reasons to upgrade beyond just increase in cash/h, all of them equally as useless for some of us. As you can argue that even the cash/h itself is not really that worth upgrading when you harem in some cases can be even less than 1/3 of you cash/h income in the game.



    The boss money scaling is a thing I don't think they will change. In their mind the reason would be probably that you need to choose, you want money? or you want event girls? Thou idea of maybe scaling them up a little wouldn't be that bad.



    The Energy issue was already mentioned in another thread and someone from PR side of things already told that he took that topic/idea used there to the game designers. His/Hers idea was a simple 10 to 1 conversion rate from quest energy to battle energy. Only problem for devs I see with this idea is balancing it out - or let us have that 13.(3)% more battles (150 minutes would regenerate 20 quest energy and with 10:1 ratio that would be 2 more battles with 15 we have now from battle energy), or scale speed of battle energy regeneration down a bit (thus we would have more battles when no quests are up to spend quest energy, and less battles when quest is up and we use quest energy on quests).



    As for PvP - adding season resets were mentioned on discord multiple times, always ignored or brushed of by saying they already are working on PvP update. Which they actually are, and which is supposed to be released before year ends. So all we can do is wait till they release that PvP revamp and see if they did a good job, or will it require fixes/patches like affection did.



    Welp just few of my thoughts on the subject.
