I'm just stunned that I've not got any kind of drop off her in about three weeks now. I also find it strange that she does not have a battle drop item that so far all bosses have required to progress in their worlds story. On the less suckie side I am getting about 23k in cash per battle vs Finalmecia.
She doesn't have any quest items because we don't need one for the story yet. You can only get them if they are needed for the scrolls, and they stop dropping when you have enough. Currently you need 0 items for all scrolls in that world, so it doesn't get dropped because you have the 0 you need.
Same boat, farming nothing but finalmecia since the patch, and I'm using most of the points I get during the day. No girls yet.
At this point I'm thinking it's a bug or something for me.
I've been battling Finalmecia since the patch and I've got nothing from her yet. I've had the same issue with Gruntt and the last Girl that I need from him.
Before Finalmecia went live I battled Gruntt for well over a month and kept getting nothing.
The Three Girls that Finalmecia has and the one that Gruntt refuses to gift me are all in need to have all the Story Girl drops.
On a side note:
I want Finalmecia to join my Harem
Im pretty sure they reduced the drop rates again, maybe even to be worse than before the update
I played at least 500 battles against Grunt during the event and couldnt get the Orc Girl, and now farming Finalmecia to no avail
yes it seems the devs are so scared their algorithm might be too generous for a few players that they'd rather punish everyone instead.
They really need someone who understands statistics. As the name implies what is important is the tendency, yes some players are gonna be better off and some worse than the exact drop rate they are targeting, but the important thing is what drop rates do players get on average. And don't reduce it as soon as 3 or 4 players report a better than average drop rate on the forum. Now far more players are reporting a worse drop rate than what they told us (should not need to battle a troll for a month to get a drop) and yet this never seems to bother them.
For my part I'll be sure to shut up if I ever experience something "better" than the average player, as we just shoot ourselves in the foot when we do it.
You should read up on what's going on before talking about things you don't know anything about. If you actually read up on things properly you would know there's a bug atm, one that they are working on fixing but that's hard to pin down the cause of. The devs aren't actively lowering the droprates, the system just broke.
