    Lightbulb Balance matching Contests

    Just some suggestion here

I play both version of harem game. It's good when I'm new but when I play in arena a lot, rank go up. And now my Contests is impossible.
At first, I admit it's easy because people around you tend to leave their account a lot (low lv). Then it's competitive and fun, fight to the last few minutes.
Now I'm level 44, in Tower around me are level 70-90 and few 5x. Currently, 1st rank Contests is level 108!!, another is 87. Why Contests group based completely by Mojo (Tower rank), it should based on level instead. Look at the contest type donate, pachingo, give xp and fight the world troll. I can fight only Ninja spy while he can fight Gruntt. That lv 108 man even have low mojo/rank than mine. It is the trick to exploit this bad matching by inactive play something and keep free Koban every two days - that why he can have all harem.

Mojo seem to be penalty instead of benefit. I have no hope to beat level 108 which can get a lot of XP and he have double harem members than mine. Now that I know the trick it's good but it is no fun and unfair at all for whom don't know about it. 64 level gap is too huge :P Hope you guy can re-balance this for fun and fair contest.
You may give weekly Koban based on rank (may decrease low rank Contests prize to balance this give-away) to prevent these shrewd person to stay at low rank.

I hadn't noticed that there was any method to the contest group matching. I thought it was completely random.

Anyway, my thoughts on the tower ranking system have been that it probably ought to have been overhauled to effectively become like a longer version of the contests. Award mojo from more sources throughout the game. Tower might still be the place for the most reliable mojo earnings rate with the arena as a so-so backup, but let there be some mojo to earn from trolls, contest results, and whatever else (girls gaining affection / xp / levels?) as well. Then set a schedule like once a week or once every two weeks (or however long they want to make it) for the tower to reset, with prizes for placement in the global listing and in your country's listing.

That's a good idea so people won't do Mojo abstinence. Rank/Mojo should be reward some way, not penalty.
But I'm sure Contests pool is not completely random. As when I am new, most of competitor are inactive or easy to deal with (since I active play than them). I always win all 3 and got 44x3. Now when I rank up it give 52 (25 for 2nd-4th).

And I play 2 of them in a game - try to re-roll avatar. There are time when main account rewards are 52 (all 3 contests), and another account are 44. And when it is rank up, they even in the same pool once with same amount rewards.

    So what I know are:
    1. The pool is 'the pool' if you are in the same pool you have exact same set of competitor.
    You are 'A' fight with 'B', 'C' and 'D'
    The guy 'B' will fight with 'A', 'C' and 'D'; not 'A', 'X' and 'Y'
    2. All contests has the same amount of Koban reward.
    3. People on the same pool get the same amount of Koban reward so there's some rule to decide Koban reward for sure so that logic forward to the competitor pool as well.
    4. The rewards are depend on Mojo. As you rank up, Koban goes up. But it is a bad idea to rank up as of now. For example, you got 44x3=132 Kobans at low rank. But when you are in higher rank with 52 Kobans reward, you can only win some - 52+25+0 or 25+25+25 or 0+0+0. Very less than before Kobans. The fight is also very hard.
    5. The pool depend on rank at some degree and I think it is high ratio. Otherwise, that lv108 should not in the same pool with me and get only 52 Kobans.

Woah, where are you seeing contests rewarding more than 40 or 50 kobans per each contest win?!

I'm level 135 and I'm at 33rd on global rankings and 6th on USA rankings. When I look at the contests each one states that 1st place can win 10 kobans and 2nd / 3rd / 4th place can win 4 kobans. (Huh. Did they nerf it at some point? I thought the numbers used to be 15 and 7?)

Edit: Actually, I guess the numbers could just be a difference of where the game's being played. I play it on Nutaku. I think I saw someone mention somewhere that the Nutaku version uses lower numbers on everything for kobans.

Yep, there is a multiplicator on the kobans. But as far as I know in the end it's all the same. Things costs different but you also get different amounts of Kobans for your money or from the daily missions. Not sure why they did it this way though...

I can guess the reason, it usual be the same for many games.. Commercial/Dealing reason..
If your money rate is too large and the game port in to the difference area which has lower currency rate or customer habit (so they can be able to buy less).. it tend to multiply the rate. For example, 1usd=7770 'A' country coins. And 1usd for 1 game coins. How to trade game coins with 100 'A' coins so that game coins will be multiply there. The spending may be the same rate (multiply) but it makes customer feeling bad if they paid 7770 money for just 1 game coins more than for 7770 game coins and spend that amount in game.
