    Where do you get so many samples? I haven't seen any legendaries in the shop yet since the update. But they always had quite a bit of spread on the stats so maybe you got unlucky ones?

    By the way, why does the forum show me HH ads? Seems odd doesn it? >.>

    Pachinko. It's much lower than the range would normally allow.

    The ads are misplaced though, but that's another topic... :P

    I've only seen maybe 1 epic and no legendary items in the shop since the update, too. Was the epic and legendary shop rate also lowered/nerfed in the update with yet another undocumented change?

    The items came from playing Epic Pachinko several times with saved up points just like the first post says.

    I can confirm. Recently I've mage Epic rolls for event characters and got a bunch of lvl 180 legendaries (those balanced ones that affect all stats), they are all weaker than IDENTICAL versions of lvl 165 legendaries and by a huge margin (over 20%).

    Super sexy eternal knot (lvl 165)
    All 4 stats ranging from 840 to 792 (crit at 11,36%)

    Super sexy eternal knot (lvl 180)
    All 4 stats ranging from 616 to 649 (crit at 8,64%)


    This is huge difference for exactly same items placed 15 levels apart.

    (As for other guy question, legendary items DO appear in shop, though very rarely, yesterday I had one appear, but because I was already in bed, I let it go since my iPhone has too small screen to even see what stats it had)

    well maybe its for the big PvP rework that they are implementing now (we got only one patch and one patch notes out of 4 that are planned) so we will see when its finished. And whats more if its nerf for everyone and everything then its not that big of a problem at all ... in PvP others will get nerfed gear too and bosses are easy to beat without any special equipement.

    BTW: your chance of getting legendary items should depend on your lvl ... but I am not sure about numbers and I am too lazy to look for them so I cant say more

    It's a mistake that it doesn't appear in the patchnote, but yes, it has been confirmed as a feature of the latest update.

    It concerns only legendary items, not epic.

    Why did they do that? They explained that it was because legendary items - especially the mono-legendaries - were OP: they made the girls' level and grade irrelevant, as well as raising your battle stat.
    With this nerf on legendaries, a balance should be attained between equipments, battle team (girls level and affection grade) and boosting your stats.

    This is a fairly understable move, once you realize that a mono-stat legendary item was around 50% stronger than the strongest girl of your specialty, at max level and 5 stars.

    They did that to make the game less pay to win: if they kept the game as before, the game would highly favored the paying gamers who spent lots of kobans in epic pachinko and got several legendaries.
    Now, the advantage of such tactic is more limited.

    It was the right thing to do, imho. Their only mistake is to not have wrote it in patchnote and explained why.

    I get that they are trying to make it less pay to win but all that really does is fuck new players and free to play people. They didn't nerf the older mono legendaries, they simply made the new ones suck. So, what if people are sitting on lvl 400+ or 600+ mono legendary sets? With a 20% decrease roughly of their stats you won't ever be stronger than them.

    It feels like anytime they have a semi good idea they kinda fuck it up by not balancing the past ranks for arena or items we already own because they don't want to upset the whales and people who spent real world money.

    First, there are no lvl 400 nor 600. Few days ago, highest level in game was between 230 and 240.

    The devs explained they didn't nerf the legendary equipment already possessed because
    - they couldn't do it safely without spending a very long time on this
    - it would have been unfair for those players who have them

    They acknowledge it's a problem, but we cannot draw hasty conclusions, here: in a few days, the battle mechanics will be revised. The importance of secondary, tertiary and crit stats will be readjusted. Main characteristic will lose its edge. So that should partially balance it all.

    For the rest, well, these OP items will become obsolete after a few months, so... The lucky players with one of them will have a small edge for some time.
