PVP 2 upcomming patch, RIP Know-how users

Calling it right now, Know-How will be the worst specialization.

Hardcore will keep current crit chance, Charm will get a complete damage block and know-how will get a heal.. instead of damage. This is hands down the worst thing they could have introduced.
You literally will auto lose to hardcore as the crit chance vs heal literally is more than a two times damage swing, every time both players procc their Luck effect hardcore gains one free attack compared to knowhow given equal strength (not even included the specialization bonus of 20%). Same is true for Charm vs Knowhow as Charm passively block an attack and knowhow basically does the same, but not as passive but as an attack. It is not even hard to see that crit with double damage, block which completely negates damage and HEAL INSTEAD OF ATTACKING can not be balanced as heal will always be the worst - you dont do damage and if you would overheal you would lose out on parts of the effect which can never happen for the other effects (okay, it can for hardcore crit chance IF YOU KILL the target and waste the effect, but at that point you do not care anyway).

Knowhow luck effect literally has to be either "attack AND heal" or "heal four double the amout of damage" (which would still be horrible as overhealing would be an issue and reduce the effect). But they should completely revamp the luck effect for knowhow, as heal already is inferior to passive block AND you sacrifice an attack for it. The only thing that would make heal viable would be something like, heal for XX amout of your total health (given the current damage it has to be like 50%+ max HP it make it viable as attacks roughly do 20% max HP damage - crits do 40%+ and with the current KH luck effect you miss out on the attack).

With the addition that there is an overabundance of hardcore (in the beginning there only was hardcore) which makes knowhow the worst specialization anyway, this will literally force anyone to go away from know how.
It is, again, something that simply is not thought through at all and possibly will not get fixed in the near future.

Also the compensation for mojo is laughable, top player will get ~20million, top1000 will get ~2 million and top 1000000 will get 60k. Given the time it took to get to high rankings it was literally the biggest game in the game so far - you did grind for 1 year to get 2 million which is not even close enough to buy affection to upgrade a single girl from 4 to 5.

The only way for Know-how to be balanced and not suck when compared to the others, is for either the new crit be something like a vampiric attack (attack AND heal) or for the heal to be double the attack damage

    Hello.

Copy pasted from the official forum:

"Crit balance: It's a mistake in the presentation. It has been confirmed on discord that the Know-How ability will make the player attack AND heal, not just heal. So, the balancing is not that off."

First off, the message that we received wasn't a "Patch note" it was simply presenting what they will be giving us in the coming weeks. So the more technical explanation for this will be given to us when the update is rolled out. And it won't be all in one update. It will be in multiple weeks when it's implemented. As for the specialties:

charm is: attack on your turn, block in the turn of the opponent. So, effectively 2 actions.

Know How: will be able to attack AND heal at the same time (I believe)

Not sure about Hardcore. All the info from above is from Discord.

hardcore will keep crit, the others will not - so it is basically a double attack

They all get the same value, just in a different way it seems.

Also it would be really odd if it healed *instead* of damaging - since damage depends on opponent's defenses, it only makes sense if the heal is equal to damage dealt, like lifesteal of sorts. If it just healed without doing damage, then how would they explain it being affected by defense?
