PVP is no fun at all

At this point, PvP is, push the button and hope (pray if religous) you don't get the shorter end of the critstick. There is nothing funny about this anymore, you get 3 opponents, around 20k less to 30k more ego, but it's pretty much not important. The classes also don't really matter, what does matter is the amount of critical hits you receive compared to the ones you can hit yourself. That's a pretty bad design don't you think?

Combine that with a ludicrous way to calculate the amount you can win/lose and you have the most useless frustrating combination. What were they thinking, win 2, lose 29, with no way to know if RNG was in the right mood to grant you a win?

Could somebody please do something with this? Maybe reduce damage to make fights a little longer and reduce the critchance so it doesn't dominate the fights as much?

i agree, making the fights take more turns will diminish the effect of crits, unless we start seeing enemies that crit 10x in a row xD
instead of reducing damage or crit chance (which may anger players who think they got nerfed), they should increase ego by 10x or so, which achieves the same effect while giving appearance of making players stronger
but this would mean battles are more predictable since effect of stats and ego would matter more than pure chance, and some may consider it "boring"

I wonder why a lot of people feel like crit > classes. I experienced it the other way around - classes, for me, are pretty much everything. If I have the weak matchup I literally lose 80% of the fights even against people with 10-15k less ego and I win the majority of fights against the good matchup, even if they are 15k ego ahead of me.
For me, with high accuracy I can say that I will win a fight if the enemy has slightly lower ego and for classes it basically is a win if my ego-10-15k for my weakness and my ego+10-15k for my strength

classes we already expect their effects and can predict with a good accuracy before fight who'd win as you pointed out. Whereas crit makes fights very hard to predict.
Losing a fight in a expected manner due to class has less emotional impact than losing a fight unexpectedly to weaker opponent who crit 3x in a row, therefore greater outcry against the mechanic in the forums, it seems.

Exactly. I can't tell you just how frustrating to face an opponent with 30k+ less ego than you and get your ass handed to you. To add insult to injury you also get a loss of around 30 mojo for what should have been an easy win.

I just lost 58 mojo from 2 easy battles, I get 2-3 from wins, this system is total bullshit.

It's just another pay-to-win mechanic in the game now.

I know the feeling. During the last 3 fights, I lost 24 mojo but only gained 1+2. My mojo is 140k and lost to 112k. At one time, shortly after patch, I was in top 10 for mojo, now I'm ~3x, and probably less due to the -24 loss just now. I kind of gave up on rankings. Who cares anymore. Let the ones who spend kobans, for battle resets, continue to buy their ranking from now on. I just play it now for the tiny bit of extra cash and exp it gives.

As a follow up to my earlier post, PvP is getting even less fun for many now. With the introduction of the "legendary" girl, Levitya, any player who isn't Hardcore specialty and has her as their Alpha is at a distinct disadvantage against someone who does. As bad as a lot of the RNG in PvP is, knowingly introducing a broken element into the game, as a cash grab, is ridiculous. Each and every time I've gone up against a team with her as the Alpha (and she's ALWAYS going to be the Alpha for a very long time), I've been beaten badly. Not just on my Nutaku version of HH, but on my account on the actual HH website as well.
