I was wondering if the app(.APK) is free of mobile data.
When I'm using the browser version on my mobile it's using a lot of mobile data. And at the end of the month, I only can use Wi-Fi or my phone bill is huge xD

Is it less when I'm using the app. Or even better, not using any data at all?

The app is just an embedded browser. The game is still played from their servers, and the game assets (images) are all still downloaded - they're not built in to the app. So no, switching to the app won't help your data bills at all.
