I think the reason why people are calling them princesses is because some of the descriptions use princess instead of Kamihime. Like this one, which is my current princess:

Dont really know anything about this game so cant really say I have chosen an element or anything in all honesty. I´ll most likely go with the flow, like I did in X-overd where I used a dark element, later swapping to Light. So no plan really.
The list on thre previous page (7) has a list of R* Kamihime, but though I´ve read the whole thread I didnt notice a similar list with SR* ones.
EDIT: Ok skipped through the whole thread and found your post with 5 or so Kamihime (SR rating I suppose) on Page 5. Cheers.
Grammarcalypse prevented successfully! Didn't mean to come off as harsh as I did, I just found kahurangi really summarized and answered your question fine in post#48 already(plus it became too much of a standard on the net to not read before asking). I will agree that Nutaku themselves don't exactly give out great info about the game, and figuring out what is a summon and what is a "princess" is sometimes not easy.
Just rolled Beelzebub, so I'm pretty happy about that. Looking over her skills, I wonder when's a good time for Hae-Ou no Igen (2nd skill; combo up/defense down). Would it stack with the normal attack count increase in Stun mode? Is the combo up worth the defense debuff in the Raging mode damage race? Or would it better off used in Normal to help with pushing into Raging, since wiki advises to otherwise use no actives (aside from debuffs) during that time?
kamihime have god or god related names, hence the word kami=god, while eidolons have monster or monster related names.
At least that's what I gather from this:
kamihime-project.wikia.com/wiki/Characters
Undine and Rusalka are exceptions that throw a wrench into whatever categorization logic I can come up with. Those two really should have been eidolons. Apsaras too I guess, since Apsaras is more of a category, like nymphs, than an individual divinity. Also, they're usually wives of the Gandharva, an SR eidolon.
Takemikazuchi's a deity; should be a kamihime instead of an eidolon.
So it's easy to come up with general rules of thumb, but there's always a few nagging exceptions.
Welp, there goes my generalization.
Damn developers can't keep naming consistent...
Wiki's advice is just a general rule of thumb. Everything changes depending on your strength compared to the target.
Generally, I'd do Igen -> Shout right in the beginning with full debuffs. Saving Riot for burst.
If you're up against a boss with so much hp than it takes you more than 6 rounds to get to raging, I'd do full buff right from the get-go.
