When it comes to Eidolon stats, the only thing I care about is Atk. If you want HP, use one or two Defender weapons.

Most people prioritize ATK because while damage checks are common (e.g., empty the Rage Bar before an Overdrive occurs), HP checks are not. Some eidolons have above-average stats overall (e.g., Yggdrasil vs. Sandalphon). I tend to prioritize eidolons with useful active skills or same-element.

This is more me just thinking out loud.. but why does Thunder not got any love. Are they colorist against yellow? I checked the future Hime and there's few additions of Thunder. In fact.. Thunder has the least amount of Hime. As a "youshouldn'tchoosethiselement" main, this saddens me greatly.

Thunder has some love, such as getting their P2W Eidolon early.

As for Hime, Thunder is very much a "pre-Mammon era" and "after Mammon era" element. Mammon is such a hard carry it is unreal, and would pretty much break any other element (except maybe Light). This also does mean that you pretty much cannot build a good Thunder team without Mammon, and that's not exactly a strength at all.

I like how Mammon coincidentally loves money and is staple for Thunder.

A Thunder team with Tyr and Sol will be viable with D'art's Discipline Relic weapon. But that's like 6 months out, almost as long as the wait for Mammon with the 3rd Miracle ticket (~8 months). Until then you need Raiko also, and are still lacking -DEF. Thunder's priorities shift over time as debuffs no longer become the main constraint. A final team with only Mammon and Sol should do just fine.

Can someone explain weapon grids to me?

For example, is a 1600 max ATK SR assault weapon from disasters with 20 skill better than a 2100 max ATK SSR off-element weapon? Off-element as in the SR fits the event's weakness, but the SSR does not.. so the SSR's skill doesn't get used. I'm not sure which outweighs the other.

the disaster weapon would be better, but it's not worth to get them to lvl 20 skill anyway as they'll be replaced for better SR or SSR of the same element.
having other element weapon in your team will do nothing but benefit the overall atk, but no real help in a battle as you need the elemental bonus from the weapons...

that SR disaster weapon will give you an extra 13% assault to your grid (at lvl 20 skill), whereas the SSR will give nothing if it's the wrong element.

Uh, pretty sure a skill level 20 weapon will easily be an upgrade. This depends on many things, such as your overall atk, and how much weapon skills you already have though.

Sanahtlig has made a toolbox, one of which can calculate when on-element weapons with lower base attack are better.

For the record, for me, a skill level 1 weapon with 1600 Atk on-element weapon is already better than a 2100 Atk off-element. But this may not be true for you.

While true, I disagree. Especially if you've found the element you want to main, leaving weapons un-upgraded because "I'll change them in the far future" is not a great plan. You'll get ahead with them now.

  10. So i just found out that allies' buffs don't work on me, thanks to my union-mate who was using Andromeda. When he use def buff i see the animation and the icon appears too, but after i use any skill or just attack, the icon disappears. Best part is that heal also doesn't work: i can see skill animation, hp increases but after 1 turn all himes hp just goes down.

I wonder if anyone has or had this issue.
