I mean the 3% chance. I understand that the boosted one get 15% on that. But since the player's choice boosted like 4 at a time, do they get 15% each from the 3% or it's still 15% from that 3% then each 4 are given 25% each after that
Example one of the 10 roll is an SSR. Does each of the 4 boosted SSR get 15% chance to be the right one? Or does it still remain 15% but if that 15% hits, you get randomly one of the 4?
From what I understand, you're asking if the gacha rolls like this:
3% chance to get SSR -> P(SSR)=0.03
15% chance to get the boosted SSR (?) -> P(boosted|SSR)= 0.03*0.15 =0.0045
25% probability to get one out of 4 (?) -> P(Actual hime|boosted|SSR)= 0.0045*0.25 = 0.001125
Mathematical notation: The probability of getting a boosted hime out of the 4 SSRs that exist in the list, given that your roll actually is an SSR.
My answer is... I don't know. If what you're saying is indeed correct, the above calculations probably apply that way, but like Sana has mentioned, I'm not sure how you've obtained your 15% and 25% to begin with.
But from an RNG gameplay perspective, I prefer applying Murphy's Law, and therefore will always pick the calculations that gives me the lowest probability since I'm biased in my view of gaming RNG
Either that, or apply Slashley's pet phrase: RNG is gonna RNG you no matter what.
I didn't wanna make a new thread just to ask this question because I don't think it warrants a long discussion but...
Are there gonna be any limited edition Kamihime anytime soon?
The event this week has new light KHs and I've been wanting to try my luck for an SSR light finally, but I've been holding my magic jewels just in case a limited KH appears, so... I don't know if I should spend it.
As far as I understand, the gacha works like this.
First the game rolls what type you're going to get:
1.5% SSR Hime
1.5% SSR Eidolon
~5%(*) SR Hime
~5%(*) SR Eidolon
~5%(*) SR Hime-less weapon
82% R crap
(*) These numbers are wrong and Sanathlig probably has the exact split for the SRs, but I can't be bothered to check right now.
After this has been rolled, the game will check what you'll get inside. ASSUMING that there aren't any internal weights, then your chances of getting specific thing from that category is just 1/(total), so for example there is 23 SSR Eidolons - if you land on SSR Eidolon slot, your chances to get each SSR Eidolon is 1/23 (~4%). BUT, there ARE weights in these, such as P2W Eidolons are weighted down heavily so they're actually less likely to show up. However, these are very difficult for us to get an exact grasp on. We just don't know the exact numbers.
Now, the way the BONUS works is that you just add more of the same stuff into the mix. For example, if the bonus modifier is 5, then your chances to pull that one from SSR Eidolons would be 5/27 (~18%). Notice how the total amount went up because you added more stuff into the pool.
The BONUS modifier for Hime is either 5x or 15x, as Nutaku doesn't tell us. At this point, DMM was using 15x for a long time already. For Eidolons, the bonus has always been 2.5x I believe.The encyclopedia in Sanahtlig's toolbox gives you a quick peek on all the upcoming SSRs.
Also note that next week we'll get SSR Cybele, who is ridiculously powerful despite not being limited.
Is it worth to get Medusa? Or should I wait for a better Event Dark Eidelon and focus on getting the SR Dark Assault Weapon?
