Of course, does this apply on Nutaku or not is another matter.I think it's a hard cap. Damage is soft-capped, everything else hard-capped.

I can't be bothered to check, but usually, those things are calculated separately from the "normal" burst modifier. Usually your burst modifier is rarity bonus (200% Rs to 500% on Awakened SSRs) + burst damage buff (capped at 300%/500%, this includes PF, Exceed and other +burst damage skills like Asherah's stacking buff).
But for some Hime, it's rarity bonus + bust damage buff + special modifier. Like that Countdown 0 buff that one Awakened Light Hime gets, her modifier isn't added to burst damage buff if I recall right.
The cap on +burst damage doesn't get changed. But that cap is specific to +burst damage buffs. For example, Uriel doesn't care about that cap at all as her passive technically isn't '+burst damage'.

Metatron's? It apparently classifies as normal burst damage buff, a 5.75x multiplier apparently. Here's the snip:
Also, referring to mechanics such as legos on Pluto, tokens on Uriel, corrosion on Lakshimi etc, I'm assuming these are not considered burst modifier the same way Takeminakata's sword isn't?
Edit: well... kinda answered by unregistered, apparently my post typing took more than 10 minutes
Perhaps old himes don't really warrant a page update until they get a huge buff or something of the sort. Either way, the more updated information can be found in the damage calculation pages of the wiki here:Originally Posted by sanahtlig

The wiki is unclear on Pluto's legos.
As for Lakshmi's bonus damage at corrosion 4 thing, it's implied to be a separate attack entirely type deal, as it has its own soft cap of 450k.
Now, my inference there is based on awakened Acala's burst effect being additional damage against raging enemies. AW Acala's burst effect is listed as 80% of normal burst damage and has its own soft damage cap of 500k. It is also explicitly noted here that this is a pursuit type thing which is not included in burst streak damage calculation, in contrast to Uriel.
Errr... Sora, both Abi1 and Abi3 consumes 1 sword each (while Abi1 gives back 3) so that would be 4 sword tokens in the end which translates to 1m echo dmg.
Pluto's lego blocks aren't really considered a direct burst buff. Instead it's calculated as extra +100% dmg/block multiplier added on top of the burst dmg multiplier. The only limiting factor is the burst dmg cap.Might as well add my own Ea, Aether, Freyr and Marduk snip
Metatron's burst buff otoh is a ability burst buff so the burst buff cap applies. However, her AW form <Count Down 0> gimmick adds an additional +450% burst dmg multiplier that ignores both the burst buff and dmg cap, allowing her to do ridiculous numbers like 4m dmg solo burst.
Uriel's case, her Abi1 charges is like Pluto's lego blocks (actually it should be the other way around). Each of her charge adds +200% extra dmg multiplier on top of her existing burst dmg multiplier, while her Abi2 adds up to another +100% burst dmg multiplier where the universal burst buff cap applies. Wind Uriel's charges works in the same manner, minus all the ridiculous buff from her original AW form.
Ea AW, Aether, Lakshimi, Freyr (Rebalanced) and Marduk AW's echo burst are calculated as a separate hit that deals X% dmg multiplier after their initial burst, and this dmg will not be taken into consideration while calculating burst streak dmg. Each has its own different dmg cap.
Ea AW - 200%, 500k
Aether - 200%, 300k
Lakshmi - ?%, 450k
Freyr (Rebalanced) - 200%, 400k (As to how I or other people were able to deal 900k, some even hit past 1m echo burst dmg is still a mystery to me.)
Marduk AW - No info on her echo burst. Sucks to be unpopular.
Acala AW is a little different. She deal 80% of her burst dmg as echo burst regardless of total multiplier, capping at 500k dmg.
Notable thing about echo burst is that it also benefits from burst buffs, be it from abilities or accessories or weapon skill.
Takeminakata is another special nut as Sora already explained above. Each sword token adds a fixed 250k dmg (ignoring all forms of enemy defense barring Barrier) to her echo burst, up to a maximum of 1.25m (5 tokens).

Thanks, Bear!
Since echo bursts do normally benefit from normal burst damage buffs, would they also receive increases to the soft damage cap from Exceed and the like?
And on a completely different note: how recent was the update that changed the AP refill from ranking up to adding AP instead (that is, not wasting any AP)? I just noticed that when hitting rank 112 today, but I don't remember that happening when I last ranked up weeks ago.
